Well, I have my battery depleted again, as you can see :
The battery is not completely empty, however, there is still this small amount of "reserve" indicated by Torque Pro :
Now, to my question. I dont' have to use my car until tomorrow evening. Is it better to let the battery empty all...
And how does this provide an argument to justify Ford not listening to its customers? Your respond is maybe funny, but it's also useless.
The Mach-E has been out for 5 years. There are many posts on this forum asking for simple additions or fixes that a junior developer can implement in 2 days...
The Topic of this thread is about the advantages of Tesla vs Ford. OTA updates where put on the table from start.
Now, looking at "Tesla Software 2025.8.3" it's obvious that the two automakers consider updates very differently.
While Teslas owners get useful updates and have now access to...
Then don't call this car a "Mustang" because any ICE Mustang I had to drive recently has a decent UI with plenty of "technical" informations and customizations that "enthusiast" drivers want and love. This UI is a shame for the brand and I don't believe they deliberately designed it to be basic...
Again this shows how miserable the Mach-E user interface is. Not beeing able to activate preconditionning is already a problem, because you could decide to change your mind and go for a "last minute" detour to a supercharger out of the programmed trip, and activate precondtioning manualy. But...
You want to start with a simple Bluetooth OBD Dongle paired with your Android Phone. Get the Torque Pro app on the play store and go visit the thread related to Mach-E extended PIDs HERE. Import the PIDs in Torque Pro. Then go to the Github page of Inside4android to register to the beta test...
Yes, I couldn't respect the rest period because I had to use the car this morning, and it takes about ten hours to fully charge it with my wallbox. So I did all this for nothing, because the HVBSoH it's still at 91,5% :
I finally depleted my battery almost completely. The MME is currently charging in AC and will be at 100% tomorrow morning. Let's see if I notice any change in HVBSoH.
I noticed a difference of about 5% between the battery capacity displayed oh the dashboard and the value in AATorque obtained...
I know that the range depends on multiple factors, including wind, altitude, rain, temperature, etc. And it's OK if the range changes during a trip. But it's not OK to see my car at full charge, at home, give 440km estimated range one day, and 380km a few days later with the same climate...
I didn't try the Mach-lee procedure, and I will certainly try sooner rather than later. Lets admit this is just false information reported and my battery has not lost 9% of capacity. The whole point is that it's just like it has !!! How do I know the difference ? How to I know the correct range...
I don't understand why such procedure would change anything regarding battery "State Of Health" - so called HVBSoH in AAtorque. Isn't this value calculated by the ratio of valid/invalid cells in the battery, aka like valid/invalid clusters on a SSD drive ? I'll try this anyway, but I doubt it'll...
Mine went from 99% to 91% after a road trip with several DC charges (mesured with an OBD module and AAtorque). I had only 6000km. Range was clearly impacted. The dealer told me not to worry about it, but this is one on the many issues that convinced me go to Tesla next time.
Efficiency is NOT subjective. It's a FACT. And it's very easy to check, as I did not later than last WE when I drove about 100km on the Highway following a friend driving a MY. We got the exact same conditions (+13°c, small lateral wind, dry road, one passenger per car, 120km/h most of the...
This is such a ridiculous post... Tesla M3 and MY have so many advantages over the MME. Faster charging speed, better efficiency, better charging network, better audio system, quieter ride, better comfort, etc etc. I can only see two things where the MME may have the lead : styling, which is...
