UPDATE - I just received my VVR and there has been some movement:

VVR on 3/22 - Awaiting shipment / Delay Rail Carrier-Santa Rit / Start date 4/2, End 4/08
VVR on 3/31 - Awaiting shipment / Ramp 7V-Veracruz VL / Start date 4/2, End 4/08

My 'status date' is 3/28. I assume I'm waiting on a ship from Veracruz to JAX. I have not received anything from Ford that says 'shipped'. Maybe I'll get the shipped email when it's on the boat?

Hopefully this is useful information for everyone (especially those in Florida and Georgia). Also, hopefully this helps everyone in batch 3565.

Your post got me thinking. I found a vehicle carrier ship called Bravery Ace that arrived in Veracruz on 4/2 and is scheduled to arrive in Jacksonville late on 4/7. That matches your dates. I'm sure it is wishful thinking but I hope my mme is on that ship. Hers's wishing those of us with no ship notification some luck.

Good news is I called GM of Metro Ford today and I was worried if my car comes when I am on vacation.. I told him that I planned the vacation before I ordered the car and my fear is that it will come when I am gone! He told me that the car is mine and they would hold the car. Will send an email closer to my vacation time to confirm (if I dont have car)

He also said he doubted very seriously I would have my car April 6-12 as his last update 3/28 was my car was in Veracruz..

VACATION ....................... Are you kidding me? Seriously guys, enjoy the ride on this. We are all getting our cars sometime soon. This car is an exceptional car. It will be a ton of fun.

Tesla - well when my wife told me, a thro-back hotrodder, she wanted one of those. I was pi$$ed. Then I drove one. Hmmmm Made all else seem like a Model T.

But I travel with my golf clubs. The Corvettes wouldn't handle that and mulch either.

Well, the cars we are getting will. And they are among the best looking cars of this moment.

Got my full history VVR. The top line says: Delay - Convoy Carrier, Leceria Cuap EM April 1st, Start Date: April 9th, End Date April 15th. Nothing in ETA

So I did the online chat thing with Ford today since my dealer is absolutely useless and doesn't even know what a VVR is. Turns out my MME is in Laredo TX waiting for "hand off" to another carrier. Not sure what that means since the train is supposed to stop in Laredo before going on to KC. Maybe Ford realized that it's going to Austin and organized for the rest of the trip to be shipped by convoy. Either way, my ETA is Apr 3-8 and I'm not holding my breath.

For timeline purposes, scheduled 1/3, built 3/5, shipped email 3/26

As far as from what I've seen from others, it is shipped via convoy from the plant to a staging area where it is then put on a train or a ship.
