Cue <Its Happening.gif>. Just got the email that mine was built with a delivery date sometime in the middle of April. Note that this is instead of the previous date of delivery of May 22nd which was after the previous delivery date which was February 22nd.

I think you said you were in batch #003316. Which # out of 540 are you?

Congrats! I hope they are going in order. I am 143/303 in that batch. Seems so close. Anxiously awaiting that Ford email.

Congratulations. Once you finally get your car, you'll see it really is worth the wait. My understanding of the shipping process is that palsapp only tracks your vehicle during truck shipping, which happens after the more extended rail transport. Unfortunately, it seems palsapp now only allows tracking by those with password access.

The cars are shipped by rail from Cuautitlan to Laredo. Once across the border, rail transport continues to KC. At some point in KC your vehicle is loaded on a CSX railcar bound for your city. The last step, is transfer from a railyard close to your dealer for transport by truck to the dealer.

The Tracker tab on this site has links for tracking US railcars which require specific railcar numbers. Your dealer must be willing to share a copy of the VVR, which will have details, including railcar numbers. If the dealer is willing to be helpful, they can provide weekly updates to the VVR which show you exactly where your vehicle is in the shipping process.

Hope this helps. My car left Cuautitlan on 1/19 and arrived at the dealer on 2/25. The day before it arrived, I got an email from Ford saying delivery was delayed until 3/26. So, best to expect some ups and downs.

It has been 272 days since I ordered. 3372, 460/630, Premium AWD ER Dark Matter Gray Metallic. AFAIK still on chip hold in Cuautitlan. According to wikipedia, in that time any of these large mammals could have been conceived and born (full term):

Got this a couple of hours ago while I was on the phone having my dealer‘s GM check the VVR. He informed me it was on the dock waiting for shipment.

I got the same email (differnet model and dates) so I called my dealer and he got someone to run a VVR and he took a picture of screen print. It still says miro chip hold. Anyone know how often the VVR system is updated? How could Ford send the letter that its built and then it still shows micorchip hold on my dealers system?

My dealer also sent me a screen shot of the VVR. Is your top line the same as mine?
I just got off the phone with Ford Customer Service. Was told it is built, but on chip hold with an estimated delivery of 3/19 to 3/25.

My salesman only sends me a picture of a screen with 1 line on it.(like your top line) Not nearly the detail you have, does he email it to you ? Next time I'll ask for a full history. The line he did a phone shot on, had 3/2 date with microchip hold. The dates for delivery are the same on my letter. Also back to the Ramp. I hope Ford letter is correct and the car will show up.

My dealership GM e-mailed the screenshot to me after I asked him if he could/would do so. The salesmen can be a little hesitant to provide full report screenshots.

Hopefully our delivery dates hold.
