Got my car today finally and it does have a power liftgate. Not sure how to tell if the glass has acoustic lamination....
Power liftgate is not the issue. What's missing on the 22s are the hands free sensors under the trunk.

My newest VVR says my car is at Richards-Gebaur, MO. Eta changed to 5/9 - 5/15.

Uggghh. Car has been sitting in Kansas City now for almost a week with no action. Just got another email from Ford pushing the ETA out yet another week. Had a 3 month wait after being built while it sat in Mexico. Now my watch begins on the next phase. Hope it is not another 3 months.

Congrats either way.

Look at the glass marking on the corner of the front door windows. If it says “laminated” it is the acoustic glass (nice to have, but only supposed to be on 2021’s). If it says “tempered“ than it is standard glass (Expected).

At least you can continue to track your car. Those of us by the SS Alliance Fairfax arriced 4/14 and are slow to arrive because I think these reasons
1) We are not part of the normal logistics since we didn't come by the reqular route by train through KC
2) A long time ago a man named Jim Moran, cut a deal with Toyota that every Toyota in Southeast region would go through the port of Jacksonville and Jim would get a cut of each car. Because of that, I believe that Toyota/JimMoran helped build the port for vechicle import and are actually VERY good at logistics at the port
Ford on the other hand is NOT Toyota and thus is NOT a well oiled machine as it comes to logistics of moving cars out of the port
3) Suppose to be a trucker shortage in Jac. (But I bet Toyota gets priority!!_

Thats what I think. but what do I really know other than my 1/3 build date is taking a real long time getting here......

I feel for you. I suspect the trucking shortage is the culprit here too. Wish I could just pay for an auto transport company to pick it up and bring it the final 224 miles. I am sure when we are finally behind the wheel it will all be worth the wait.

Intermodel is a location at (decommissioned) Richards-Gebaur Air Force Base that is now the end point for Kansas City Southern Railroad to offload and store new cars until a full load can be put together for the different areas. Google maps shows cars parked on the old runways. The picture was taken sometime this year.

...mine arrived at IFG 8 days ago and was apparently unloaded on Monday. Palsapp now shows as pending/picked rather than pending/ASN so I think Jack Cooper is at least aware that the car is physically waiting for a truck....
How's your progress? I'm about a week behind you, arrived IFG on 4/20.

Plain old tempered, but still happy to have it!

OK. Thanks for that. I misunderstood. I was pretty irritated at the thought of no power liftgate. The hand free sensor would certainly have been nice but not really irritating beyond general not delivering on a promise

Yeah, that would have been like buying a car a decade old ?

Though I have to do I am pretty disappointed that they didn't give any credit for missing those two features. I guess the 750 dollar conversion voucher is that...

I feel your pain. Mine has been in KC Argentine since 4/6. Hope we get some information soon.

My Mach was built 1/31 and has the laminated glass.
Is your GT a GT or a GTPE?

Perhaps it is still there...or perhaps the Ford database is just not current/accurate. I have read about people who's status is their car has not even shipped, but they already have delivery of it.

I think once they got chips, the shipping process that is already complex with truckers...is made worse when 3 months worth of production flows out the door in a 2 week period. The system was never built for that kind of volume.

I am very confident that all of the January build cars are in transit at this point and getting closer to their destination or already delivered. I expect my car in 2-3 weeks. As far as I can tell it is still in Missouri...
