Ordered 5/26/21 and as far as I'm aware, it's still sitting in a railyard in Muncie, KS. ? Just got another email from Ford on Friday saying it's delayed until 5/17-5/23.
Has anyone ever gotten a delay email and then the car ended up getting there sooner?

yes…I got a delayed email, but my GTPE showed up at dealership the next day lol

If the dealer is already honoring pricing before the increase, can we still get anything with the $750 credit Ford is giving us?

that $750 credit came the day our cars were converted to a 2022 and were for the small increase. That $2000 increase came two months later.

325 days since I ordered on June 4, and my vehicle is sitting in a rail yard in Missouri. How many of you have been waiting longer? Misery loves company.

I'm at 331 days and counting. Maybe today will be the day! But tomorrow through next Mon is my delivery window.

Yep. I've been lurking on this thread as this was my build week.

Ordered online: 7/10/2021 Premium, ER, RW, Rapid Red
Converted from 2021 to 2022 MY 9/27/2021 (Changed color to Grabber Blue as this was now a 2022 option)
Build week 01/03/2022 Batch 3316 279/340
Shipped 1/19/2022
Arrived Ramp 6R: 1/28/2022
Ford estimated delivery date: 2/28/2022 - 3/6/2022
2/24/2022 Ford email pushed delivery date back a month, to 3/20/2022 - 3/26/2022
2/25/2022 checked Ford online order website (daily OCD ritual) and status changed to Delivered (!!!)
Called dealer and advised my car had showed up that morning and they were just about to call me.

So, YMMV, but the bottom line is this car is sensationally popular for a reason. Ford hasn't gotten their act together on communication, internally or externally. Dealership staff have no idea what's going on, especially if in a market (like KY) where their customer base skews to 'coal rollers'. Ford corporate seems to be trying to (slowly) get a handle on how to support customers, and dealers, in a demand-exceeds-supply environment.

So to all my fellow 1/3/2022 Build Week comrades, as frustrating, and sometimes infuriating, as the process is, I swear, it is worth it. Hang in there. Not to trivialize childbirth, but, like labor pain, once you get your hands on that baby, it's all forgotten.

This is super helpful for my morale, thank you! Also, you lucky duck, missing the chip hold! I have tried to be as patient as I can be, although I’m getting antsy as May approaches. We sold our F-150 in November thinking we’d have a car soon enough, and definitely not expecting it to take another 5-6 months. Now my husband will be leaving in May and driving our other car to his summer internship 1400 miles away…and I’m starting to really worry I’ll be left behind with my full time job, our 3 year old, and no car! Cross your fingers for us ?

Picked it up today! My front windows said Laminated on it, back windows said Tempered. Was it only supposed to be the front windows that were the “acoustic” glass?

I’m guessing they still had parts available when my car was built beginning of January before it went on chip hold so I still got them…

I don't think Ford chat is always accurate. What did you order? Have you discussed price protection yet? I live in Chico but ordered from Geweke. Let's stay in touch and keep each other updated.

So far no emails regarding if it has been shipped and ford tracker says awaiting shipment since it was built on 3/10/2022. Ordertrack shows same status. Far as price protection I have not discussed that with the dealer yet and will bring this up soon. I do have the originally quote in writing and hopefully it goes smooth. I'll keep you guys updated for sure.

Got to Kansas City 4/14, switched to the Muncie rail yard 4/18, and today for the first time I’m seeing a load number when I search the VIN on United Roads.

Drats, my delivery date just got pushed back for a 3rd time. This time from 4/22/22 to 5/27/22. I'm not too surprised thanks to this forum; at least I know it is not just me....nonetheless I do need a car by June....

I hear cricketts from Ford. No notice since the build notice early March with an ETA of 4/6-4/12, then 2 days later a letter saying delayed til May 19-25. Then NOTHING...... but I do know from VVR that my car has been sitting in Jax Port (Blount Island) for almost 2 weeks. Palsapp is still pending a wait in KC (good luck there).
Today I sell my 2014 Honda Accord Hybrid (almost 21K!!) and go on vacation til May 9. Fingers crossed my car is here when I get back..

So as of last weekend, my car was in the Alliance Railyard out near Ft Worth TX, waiting for the final leg to Austin. Ford.com updated my ETA to 4/29-5/5, but just today, they updated the delivery dates back to 4/23-4/29. I wonder what prompted them to change it back when it's in the middle of the delivery timeframe!
