10/24 Build date

Just got my modules! I was starting to panic because I haven’t seen anyone with my batch number (9062) and I had been bumped from 10/24 to 10/31, but I got my window sticker last Monday. I’ve been checking religiously since, and this afternoon, I got the date under “in production” of 10/30, and my modules are showing up! Now, here’s hoping 1) no rail strike & 2) it keeps the 26 day average to arrive in MI. This would be a great Thanksgiving present ?

Got the tear tag today. Does this information help me in some way?

Also talked with my dealer (Bredemann Ford) for the first time in a few months. I asked him about current financing deals, and he volunteered that I am locked in at 2.49% APR up to 72 months on a loan, because that was the rate at the time I ordered. I didn't even have to ask or pester about the rate lock, he just told me on his own.

Same for me, Got my modules and tear tag since 10/28, but still in production. No ETA yet. I live in Seattle, hopefully i get it before new year.

Definitely check with ford chat!

A lot of times the primary status lags behind, the secondary status (or the "location" of the vehicle)from that chat will give you a more accurate information.

Last friday when I talked to ford chat my primary status was still "In production" but the secondary status showed that my car was in "Ramp 5J" which is the waiting area for shipping pick up. That secondary note gave me enough information to determine that my car was built and waiting to be shipped. An hour after that chat my tracker status was flipped to "Shipped/In Transit"

Be aware though, sometimes if you just straight up ask for a "secondary status" they will say that they do not have access to it. However, usually the info will be pasted to you when they report your status.

So how do we find out the rail car number.
Train nut so it would be fun to follow it.

Have you gotten the rail car number from ford chat for your mach-e? I just got mine, wondering if we're on the same train since we're in the same batch (my car was shipping last friday.)

My rail car is #AOK 501619
From what I gather on other build week threads, the rail car belongs to KCS/Kansas City Southern (It's weird, when I googled AOK it showed "Arkansas-Oklahoma Railroad Co." but folks on the forum says its with KCS. You will probably know more about this than I do.)

Looks like the only way to track it is to call their service line at 1-800-468-6527.

They told me the same but my ETA is December 12th to the 18th.

If you got time on your hands or is a information junkie like myself, you can try ford chat again. Different agents can yield varying degree of information, some are more forthcoming than others, some are even willing to explain and give you a run down on what it all means! Cheers regardless!
