I been looking at the avg time for a train from KC to WA is about 3 to 4 days, but this is for passenger trains, it hard to get the avg on a cargo train.

If it makes you feel any better, my car definitely sat unloaded in Montreal for about 9 days before it made it's way to Ottawa. I was getting a bit impatient too, then it finally came in last Friday. My car has been unloaded since the 6th. Still has not made it to the dealership yet, they were originally anticipating we would be able the take the car home on Saturday, but no dice.
Not sure why it's taking so long, the railcar arrived to vancouver two weeks ago.
The railyard is 30km/20miles from the dealership. Looking in older threads of other forum members in the same city, it seems like their cars usually gets to the dealership in 1-2 days after being unloaded.
Maybe it's the end of the year and holiday season slowing everything down. ?‍
