One issue I did have was my GT was not getting updates, and blue cruise was not working. I had to spend 8 hours at the dealership to have them fully up date the car for me. Then they tried to make me pay for 8 hours of service. Lucky I had video showing I was not able to update the car myself and that my blue cruise was not working. It was then covered by the warranty. I am now on 1.4.2 with the new UI and blue cruise works now.

They reverted you all the way back to 1.4.2? Yeesh. Going to take a lot of updates for you to catch up.

The IRS just reclassified the Mach E and others as SUV so the MSRP limit is 80k. Not sure if that helps also.

I just seen that and I am getting a rebate from the price cut. I just don't know how much yet.

I just realized I never shared a pic. Here we are visiting the local robot.
Coming up on my two month anniversary and I am so happy. It is really a great car. Drives so well, I am getting OTA updates, Blue Cruise was a welcome surprise when it kicked in, my Porsche loving neighbor was even impressed. So glad I made the decision a year ago to order it.

Hi! Really just here to introduce myself. I didn't know better and almost bought a Tesla Model 3, but changed my mind at the last minute. It was kismet becasue the day I was supposed to take delivery of the Tesla, the IRS bumped up their classification of the Mach E., allowing me to get the rebate. I hadn't really looked at Mach Es yet, but I happened to find a Black 2022 Premium AWD XR being used as a showroom model. The sticker says special order, so maybe someone backed out? It was supposedly built 10/29, and my sticker says build 9038, 223/686, so I figured I belong here. So... Hi!

Looking on here I see several remarks about being happy to be at the end of 2022 instead of being bumped to the 2023s. May I ask why?

I'm struggling to get the OTA updates. I'm at 3.5.3, faithfully parking each night in range of the wifi, keeping over 80%, and using the parking brake.

Other than that, I love it so far and am happy my gut said not to get the Tesla.

Welcome to the family.
Question 1. Happy to have a 22 over a 23 since we far as we knew at the time the 23 was going to have less features. Example we have the park assist prep kit but the 23 does not list anything about park assist at all. Next we where all getting our cars in 22 for the full tax credit... Sadly I was the only one who got my delivery late on January 14th 2023, but this has been fixed and I will get the tax credit next tax season vs this one.

Question 2. Mine too has a huge issue getting OTA updates and blue cruise would not work at all. I had to go to the dealership and wait 8 hours for them to manually update the car. Then they tried to get me to pay for 8 hours of service. Lucky I was able to prove I was not able to update the car myself and they did cover it under warranty. Make a video trying to update it yourself and or call ford tech support. Once you have that proof make your appointment at the dealership.

And again welcome to the family.
I finally got my stripes :)

I got an update about then Jan 2023 rebate offer. Sadly I was told this is only for the 2023 and I will not get anything being a 2022, even though I did get my car in 2023 lol. I just need to wait until next tax season and hope they dont change it again to get my tax credit. ugh

That's a bummer. But you at least you're not missing out on what you expected. (Most likely)
