When I saw the new IRS rules, ugh. I’ll miss the cutoff. While I won’t pay $55,000 for our MachE, the sticker says $59k. This has been a crazy up and down experience. We ordered a AWD standard range select with comfort. When the comfort wasn’t available on the 23’s we moved it to premium knowing it would cost about 4K more, but we would be getting more. To lose the $7500 is another blow. But….. hey… it’s just a car and it will still be our first EV. I think it will all work out and we will enjoy it and not think about the cost.
I completely agree… up and down experience to say the least!

My dealer called me today and told me he was informed there would be a longer delay with my vehicle. He said it had something to do with how it was configured and parts availability. No specifics. It's a premium, AWD standard range.

Does anyone have any updates on their vehicle since 12/19/22. I talked to Ford today and they said it hasn't been any updates since then. Plus they said my delivery date got moved back to the 1st week of February.

Just got a "shipped" email with a target at the end of February. (Earlier than I expected.) Also I directly asked the dealer if there would be ADM, they said no, and if the financing would be based on the reservation date, also no (unfortunately there.) Will still work them on getting financing based off the reservation date but hopefully ADMs are getting rarer.

So I set up my new ‘23 build week 12/19 in my ford app and some one at the plant kindly activated it for me so now I can see it’s journey up to Michigan!
Hopefully they let you keep your access :)

I had access briefly but they did a master reset before loading onto the train.

You are right. Sadly they have disabled vehicle location function so I hope it’s moving.

Has yours shipped yet?
No, still says in production. I’m just curious if anyone that has had theirs shipped got a standard range battery?

I say this because my dealer hinted that it was a battery pack issue, as to why mine wasn’t finished being built.

Pure speculation, but if it is a battery issue, could it be Ford switching the standard range to LFP batteries? Back in July they talked about some of the line getting them in 2023.

I would take a small delay for the lfp battery. My dealer didn't say anything about a delay because of a battery, but my dealer is trash. They said mine was built since the 19th. Fingers crossed it gets shipped soon, my delivery window is feb. 1-7
