Are you getting a PCO and price protected lower APR ??

I will be getting PCO, I asked about the incentives/APR from when I ordered, I want to do a 3 or 4 year Ford Options . I also have Z Plan, they accepted that when I placed the order. I haven't heard from the dealer about when it would be ready.

They came back with financing options. They added something called "PermaPlate". They said most of their new car buyers pay for it, you're paying for the warranty. I said no way, it's not on the order. Waiting on updated numbers and a time to sign papers.

Yah, famous dealer tricks!

I told my MSRP dealer that when it arrives, I do NOT want their customary add ons:
$500 Nitrogen Air fill tires
$500 plastic door guards
$1500 alarm system
$1000 interior protection
etc.....

Whatever incentives (financing, rebates, etc.) that were available when the order was placed, or the current incentives, are available, so you can take what's best. Instead of what was available on 3/23/22 when I placed the original order, the incentives on 9/28/22, when the order was converted to a '23, were available to me.

As for incentives, were you offered a choice of either the re-order date and delivery date ?
May we ask what the rate were being offered ?

Did the dealer add on some extra BS items ?

I'd love it if Ford would allow my to get incentives for the original order date when the rate was 2.49%....

My delivery date slipped into next week. Now ETA is 04/16-04/22.
I’ll be forfeiting my order and walking away. Almost certain it’s going to miss the tax credit deadline.

Sorry to hear that, seems that shipping is certainly an area they are struggling with. I’m trying to come up with a silver lining to all this. At least with our long wait we can just pay cash for the car? Been kicking aside money since 3/11/22…. Ha!
