I’ve got a 21 job 1 and am hung on trying to install 6.6.0 every night for the past week. Checking the ford my account page it’s showed my 12v battery around 65% and this update seems to need 75%. I got a Noco Genius 5 and have put it on the AGM setting overnight for the past 2 nights. Both mornings the charger light was white which I took to mean “it’s fully charged”. After the first morning it was only up to 69% and after the second it was up to 74%. A few months back I was getting a flurry of low voltage battery errors but they just stopped on their own around a month ago. Is my 12v battery going bad or do I just need to keep putting it on the charger until it gets charged up enough?

Sounds like a bad battery to me. I know Ford replaced the 12v battery on my wife's explorer twice at no cost within warranty. Assuming you are still under 36 months, you should contact your dealer. Our dealer sent a van to our house to replace the last one.

NOCO chargers must have solid green light only to be 100% charged. They don't charge very fast or fully because of faulty charge termination logic. If the green light is pulsing then it's only 80-90% charged. White light only isn't an option?

Try the "long charge method" instead: How To Get Failed OTAs To Install

I just went out there and checked and the green (not white - sorry) light is pulsing. Which is why I guess I thought it meant charged. My voltmeter says it’s at 13.13v and the ford my account page says 68% but I’m not sure that that is up to date.
I’ll run the high voltage battery down low and do a long charge and see what that does with the 12v battery. I’ve been worried for a while that the 12v battery was dying.

I looked and the highest you got to was 75%, that was really close to the threshold. Battery needs to stay above 13 volts for probably 6+ hours to have a shot. You want 80% or more. Don't worry your battery appears okay, it's just need to charge up for a long time. 6.6.0 is a larger update so requires more 12V battery.

6.6.0 requires at least 80% 12v battery SoC

I was able to get the update last night by performing the "blower charge" method from @Mach-Lee's post above. The 12v charge got up to 78% (as reported by the ford account page) and it installed.

Now I'm just waiting on the servers to decide that I need 6.7.0 so I can get that sweet sweet frunk button that everybody else seems to be getting. At this point, I think I'm going to be the last Mach E to get it and I actually use the frunk all the time - for takeout so it doesn't stink up the cab.

Where on the ford account page do you find the 12v battery level? Maybe I'm blind, but I can't find it.

My car is stuck trying to download 6.7, so I want to see if that's the culprit.

The Charge Level at https://www.ford.com/myaccount/account-dashboard is actually your 12v charge and not your high voltage charge. I *think* it’s a bug where some web dev pulled the wrong charge level for the UI but it seems to be the 12v charge. There are reports that this charge level isn’t there for some people.

My 12v battery is at 75% and my high voltage traction battery is at 72%
