Mine took 9 days to clear out of my Ford account. Some people have had theirs clear much faster. 🤷‍♂️🐩
It depends how fast the dealer does their warranty paperwork and submits it to Ford. Some are faster than others.

It depends how fast the dealer does their warranty paperwork and submits it to Ford. Some are faster than others.
Exactly. Some dealers wait to submit in bulk at the end of the month while others do it on a rolling basis. Yes, it is entirely electronic but dealers are dealers

Just had the recall done and software updated at my Ford Dealer but the software update screen in the car does not show the update. The car has been driver 30 miles and been locked and unlocked.
Any ideas why .

Just had the recall done and software updated at my Ford Dealer but the software update screen in the car does not show the update. The car has been driver 30 miles and been locked and unlocked.
Any ideas why .
What you see in the car is for updates applied via OTA. The update you received for the recall is applied via FDRS, which won't show on that screen and from the Ford web page.

So the car was picked up by the dealer on Wednesday morning. Wednesday afternoon I got a call saying the recall updates are taking longer than expected and the car would not be back until Thursday. Thursday afternoon I got another call saying they were still having issues updating the car due to the software out of date issues and now I won’t get the car back until Monday at the earliest. Hopefully this resolves the OTA update issues for me, but we shall see when I get the car back.
I’ll update again when I do.
Got the car back today, it looks like all the OTA updates I missed over the last 2 years are now installed and everything appears to be up to date. Lots of new features I’ve been missing, maps are now up to date, everything looks great and didn’t cost me the $1800 I was quoted to do this outside of the recall.
Now let’s see if I get the next OTA update…

Apparently not available in the 50th state. No letter and the dealer says it’s not available yet either. 🙄

Both are unsurprising.

How long after you had recall before Ford app said it was done? Went to the https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls it also still says incomplete. I think I will go by Ford dealership this week. Plus when mobile Ford was here they said my 12v didn't pass his test. Car is still under 3 year warranty so will see if they will replace it for free.
During the 3 year, 36,000 mile warranty, if the battery fails testing it is replaced for free. My Mach-E and Lightning both tested weeks before warranty ended, Mach-E passed, Lightning failed, got new battery.

Don't know if this is a problem. I replaced my LVB and have been monitoring the SOC. I charged the new battery before installing and after install and BMS reset, the SOC was 98%. I have noticed that while driving the car keeps the SOC between 90% and 92%, which is normal operation. Today when I left home the SOC was 88%. Drove to town to shop at several stores. SOC was 91% when I stopped at the first stop. When I left 1st stop, the SOC was 94%. When I left the 2nd stop, it was 96%. When I left the 3rd stop, it was 98%. Waited 15 minutes after I got home, and SOC was still at 98%. Worried the car may be overcharging the battery because, it seems, this recall forces charging at 14.4/5V for 12 minutes each time the ignition is turned off. Could this reduce the life of the LVB?

This is the message I am referring to as to my earlier post. I got this message from the Ford App a few minutes ago while the car is at dealership for the recall update and etc... Thus the diagnostics when I spoke the Ford service advisor at 1:45pm.

my 2023. Mach e went in today for this update and when I went to pick it up I had this same message come up on my App the service adviser came out said there had been a problem withthe update and they couldn’t let me take the car and will call me once they have sorted it no Eta what did they do to fix yours Thanks

They kept the car for 48 hours once the message appeared when doing the update with it being under diagnostics. As expected everything returned fine so the Ford Dealership documented the High Voltage battery issue. The issue has not reappeared since the car has been updated and returned.

My 2021 Mach-e got 25S65 update at the dealership a few days ago. The service manager noted that the 12V battery's State of Charge (SOC) was in the ninety-ish prior to the update, but dropped to the eighty-ish afterward, despite using a trickle charger during the process. He mentioned this isn’t the first time he’s seen this happen, but he’s unsure of the cause. Any thoughts?"
