I have an extension cable from https://toughleads.co.uk/collections/ev-electric-vehicle-extension-leads.
I have a 25 metre cable with RDC and letterbox connector. This has served me well allowing me to charge from holiday homes.
I have used the frunc as a a place to safely store the connection between the extension and the Ford charge lead. I just latch the frunc lid to the first latch and the leads go through the gap. I probably won't do this if the weather is hot as the cable, if left coiled, gets warm in the frunc.
The extension socket is sealed and I have used it outside with no problems where needed.
