Love my 2023 Select, Standard Range.
My question: Is it safe to use a 180kw charging station?
Apart from my home charger, I go to 50kw stations when on the road.
The ‘Circuit Électrique’ network service tells me the 180 kw is the best one for my car.

You can go to 350 kW stations if they're available - your car will only pull what it decides it wants at that time (depending on battery temperature/level/etc). No need to worry about using a very fast charger and it being a problem for your car.

The only thing I'd suggest, personally, is if you pull up to a station with 150 kW chargers and 350 kW chargers - use the 150 if you can, just as a possible courtesy to those that could use more capacity of those faster chargers. But if you pull up and there's a 50 kW and a 350 kW - I'm using the 350 kW to max out my speed.

Yes - your vehicle will always limit the amount of power to the maximum speed it can accept.

And good news - Electric Circuit/Circuit electrique are in the BlueOval Charge Network, so you can easily use FordPass to pay for charging just like you can on all 14 network partners across the US and Canada - no need to fuss with extra apps or keep a balance saved on an account with them directly.

The idea of being considerate and mindful of others seems dystopian now in 'Merica. You're treading on their rights to do whatever to whomever, commie.

He’s from Canada.
A little clarification, and no offense or slight intended to you, yes, true, OP is from Canada, perhaps Quebec? But I think 'stoopid' in NV was responding to Ack154 from NY, and not directly to Vincent. What 'stoopid' said was funny but sadly true, imho. On the other hand, perhaps I missed your point, which may be that you are suggesting Canadians are fundamentally more considerate than we have become. In all the times I've gone to Canada I can say I've had only a couple of encounters that weren't all that nice, but life went on.

I’ve used several 350 units on my 2400 mile round trip to Virginia from Baton Rouge. Same cost per unit and if stalls are empty, I’m using the 350. 15-20 minutes and at 80% and headed off to the next charger 160 miles or so down the road. Longest stretch was 180 miles and blue cruise went all 180 and it was sweet.

You can definitely use that or as others have said, any of the fast chargers. The Mach-E cannot pull more that 150kwh no matter what you plug into. And I think the highest I ever seen mine pull was 108. So don't limit yourself to the 50kwh chargers, it's not necessary.

CE has stalls up to 350kw. Your car can take up to 150kw. If you plug into a 180kw or 350kw, the max will always be 150kw.

Bonne chance dans tes recharges !

My point actually, and I feel it is the major issue many places these days, is it is easy to state relatively ridiculous, generic, stereotypical comments on social media. Personally I still find most people I deal with in person, and I have to assume this is true in Canada, are for the most part considerate.

Just need to make sure everyone understands that the charging stations are not “chargers” the car has the charger and the stations only supply the electricity. You could be at a 900 kw but your cars charger limits the speed.

Not true for level 3. Level 3 charges directly into the battery bypassing the vehicle charger. The car communicates requirements.
