Under 25mph the damn thing sounds like an oversized Roomba, my dogs can hear it and start barking when the wife is over a block and a half away.
What year is yours? Mine is a 2023 and no where near that loud. Maybe once the A/C needs to run?

If you can't hear it from outside when the car is in Drive, something is wrong with yours. Maybe you have a blown speaker or something. Can you hear it beep when in Reverse?
I can hear it, it just not very noticeable

It only makes the noise in DRIVE, not in PARK. It's as noticeable as it is required to be.

Sounds like this:

In that video the sound seems speed dependent, the faster it goes the louder it sounds to me. Since there are people walking I am only going like 8mph.

The pitch changes with speed, the loudness stays the same. If they can't hear that coming then they're hard of hearing.

I believe this is the first thread I've ever seen complaining about how quiet the noise is. Everyone says it is too annoying...

Like me. I have my pedestrian speaker turned off. The sound of silence is beautiful. I can hear the tires crackling on the leaves, and the birds chirping in the trees. Ahhhh....
