IT’s coming.
Based on the number we can assume that this will be the next update after 2.4.1. That update appears to have stalled though. So the question is, when will this update roll out?

I think all we can assume for now is, 2.5.2 will begin arriving after 2.4.0 and before 2.5.2.1. Maybe. ??

So any ideas what it brings?
I already tossed out my speculation and, although I was being humorous, I don’t think I was too far off the mark. Remember, they’ve said that BlueCruise will require a series of updates so I think those that expect this to be the magical “BlueCruise Update” will be disappointed. I actually think Ford will announce that one. It’s possible this one might include the frunk release (unless Mark has denied that already).

Damn, really? That sucks, why would they cut it off like that, it should be available for everyone across the board. I really don’t like this segregated approach to software delivery and features.
Reading the TSB - the primary purpose was to correct a "stop safely now" failure which had a related parking pawl issue. The TSB presumably cuts off at the build dates which have a hardware/software change that prevents the issue.

I think they threw in the charge/range modifications as an added bonus.

Well, if there’s no remote frunk release then I’m not interested ??? the ONLY reason I purchased my car was because Darren Palmer promised we’d have a remote frunk release ???
I know you’re joking, but, for me, a working frunk button would get way more usage than the ability to clap along to music on the highway.

I've been awaiting removal of the 80% DC Fast Charge cliff & increasing usable battery the most, though I suppose you're talking about Bluecruise. Do you have a source?
Visit your dealer, they will do the update free of charge. You should have received a letter from Ford explaining the update. I had my FE MME updated last June and it is really nice on long trips to DC fast charge past 80% at about 40kWh.

Last June? That update wasn’t out yet?

Bingo.

I know nothing about it having the frunk release fix.

I can get 10-15 seconds of clapping in while using adaptive cruise.

So what about 2.4.1? As far as I know that never made it past the early access ring. So, either there was something wrong and it got delayed, or we're just skipping it?
