I have finally added my wife's phone as a PAAK. The system wanted us to create a second backup passcode, but not a unique door code.

Is this correct? passcode is tied to user profile, door code is not?

Correct.

And, if you don't want her to have a unique passcode, don't put one in. Car doesn't care who puts in a passcode, or a door code.

Also, since so many miss this, the original door code cannot be changed. You can add your own, but you can't erase the original one. REMOVE THE CARD from the glovebox.

Thanks RickMachE. Card is stored safely in the house. Wouldn't want to remove the factory code have had to use it when user error on my part caused me to lock myself out 500 miles from home.
