Installing mine currently (FDRS), thanks for the info. Not yet it's not. It just showed up in FDRS this morning. When I checked to see if it was queued as an OTA for my car it wasn't, so I FDRS'd it.

Is this not the definition of Irony?!?!While it's very likely that both vehicles experienced exactly the same malady, the 12V AGM appears to be a symptom, rather than the cause.
Or put another way, if you could actually get to the battery, disconnecting the negative cable for a few minutes seems to fix the issue with the car.
Ironically, the malady prevents access to the battery.
I think it's more of a Catch-22.Is this not the definition of Irony?!?!
I have been much more fortunate, and am sorry for your trouble.2 Mach-E family. Both have bricked.
Posted about a month ago talking about a bricked 2023 Premium. Today the same thing happened with our 2023 GTPE. Something is up and Ford needs to figure this out.
Both times it’s happened the car shows it running in the app and the location shows sitting at an intersection waiting to turn left. But the car is actually home. That’s the point when the 12v fails apparently. But after arriving home, the car will no longer unlock. Battery won’t jump the frunk because it still has enough power to honk when you use the fob. Just won’t unlock.
The last fix was to replace the 12v battery. I’m waiting on a flatbed to drag this thing to the dealership now, but I suspect the fix will be the same. Both cars are driven daily. What are the odds both had a bad 12v from the factory!?
This is really ridiculous.

Apologies if I missed something, but isn’t it the case that you can pop the frunk via the wires in the front tow hook port, then get at the battery to disconnect or charge? Is this not the definition of Irony?!?!
Only if the LVB is dead. It sounds like this is occurring when the LVB is not dead.Apologies if I missed something, but isn’t it the case that you can pop the frunk via the wires in the front tow hook port, then get at the battery to disconnect or charge?
I'm sorry that happened to you... twice.2 Mach-E family. Both have bricked.

There have only been a couple members reporting having the issue in the first place. The fix is, in theory currently on FDRS, and hopefully with OTA soon.Ok, so this issue about the 12v battery is starting to scare me. Is it random? Does it correlate with time or miles, or some unknown collection of bad habits (like unwanted PAAK triggers)? Is my Premium trim manufactured in May of 24 ‘immune’ because of software or hardware updates? Most likely my car purchased three weeks ago isn’t at risk or might it be?; I read earlier in this thread that dealer storage and maintenance practices pre-sale could be a factor……
Fair enough, I still think the emergency access and provisioning needs revisiting in conjunction with this though. We're seeing the shortcomings of the configuration when put to the test. There have only been a couple members reporting having the issue in the first place. This hasn’t really been widespread ...
That I don’t disagree with…personally I would have just put a keyhole on the car. But that’s not cool enough I guess.Fair enough, I still think the emergency access and provisioning needs revisiting in conjunction with this though. I completely agree! a key hole would have been totally acceptable. I would have been fine with normal door handles too. The door buttons and door pop solenoids were cool to me for about a week, then they started looking like more of a liability than anything else. That I don’t disagree with…personally I would have just put a keyhole on the car.
