As of today my order from May 25 is still not scheduled yet. I haven’t heard any clear guidance about what to do next. Do we assume that all 21MY production has been scheduled by now? I know some people are calling their dealer to order 22’s but is this the right thing to do if you want to keep your spot (if such a thing even exists)? I still want to complete the order online so I don’t want the dealer to do anything that would mess that up. Should we just be waiting for an email or a call?

I wanted to ask here because a lot of dealers don’t know what to do either and some might just be guessing at next steps.

Just wait. If your order hasn't been scheduled yet, it will almost certainly be a 2022.

If I were in your position, I'd just hold tight.

I emailed my dealer contact. They mentioned that they're waiting on Ford, and they assume Ford won't schedule any more 2021's. They also aren't sure Ford will be converting orders for them or if they need to put them in themselves... Seems really early in the process. What really stinks for me is I originally wanted a color that they discontinued and so I switched to this now defunct Silver... so I'll have to pick yet another color and who knows if that order will ever get picked up. I'm a bit sour that my dealership I guess doesn't get many vehicles picked up for the Mach E.

My Dealer isn't really on top of the Mach-E stuff either. I finally went in yesterday and asked for them to print a copy of my order summary for the unscheduled 7/19 order. The new print out has the model Year listed as a 2022.

I never got a positive response no matter how many times I called, emailed or texted for the same information. I didn't get anything until I sat in a chair and waited... However I now know what year I am getting...just no idea when it will get scheduled.

I recommend hang tight go ask for a print out and you will probably get the information you want.

Again, to share next steps here, '21 orders that weren't scheduled by last week are now '22 orders with a priority code of 99 (which means on hold). You need to talk with your dealer about any changes you'd like to make like color or options. After talking with you and making any changes, they should change the priority back up in the range of 10 to 19 (I'd ask for 10). If you don't have any changes, they can just update your priority code and that's it. This needs to get done by Nov 1st, so you have some time. I was told you are still supposed to keep your place in line (can't verify), but there's an extra delay for switching over model years. Do not cancel your '21 order to make a '22 order or you may lose your place, work with the existing order.

You should also have gotten an email about a $750 offer for waiting.

Some of you have done this already since Thursday when '22 opened, that's fine.
