2021 model year, driven by my wife. The car has about 52k miles. Garaged and cared for well.
Really disappointed the driver seat already coming apart.
For reference, we have a 2018 Expedition with 105k miles and none of the seats are showing this type of premature aging.
I’ve also noticed some of the buttons (window control, hazards) that have their plastic peeling off.
Thus far, we won’t be buying another Ford EV after this. The quality of parts leaves much to be desired. My neighbor was right. It’s a $20k car with a 30k battery. In order to keep the price competitive, they clearly cut corners everywhere else.
What a shame.
