We looked at almost every major competitor. Right now lease deals are pretty aggressively priced. I *wanted to like* the Ioniq5. But it felt like I was riding in a Jetsons car. And the seats were awful for me.

I wanted to buy an EV9 but this is my wife's car and she didn't want that big of a vehicle.

The Mach-E just hits all the checks. Looks good. Is comfortable. Can get out of it's own way. Has plenty of passenger and cargo space. And most importantly it treats the driver like a driver and not another passenger. It's just a vehicle that someone that likes to drive had a hand in designing.

My '21 gave us a ton of problems. You can look up my posting history here.

My wife still loved her '21 despite the problems and Carvana basically paid us what our buyout was on the options plan a year early.

Leasing is so competitive right now.

Was looking at Eruption Green premiums. Found a GT just at random. Went immediately and looked. Two blocks in... Done. The suspension and seats in the GT are so nice compared to the '21.

And it's almost $150 month less to lease than the '21 Options cost. Not complaining.

0% Interest for 72 months is a sweet deal! I'd try to squeeze every last penny out of that jucy offer.

The changes to the GT are more dramatic, but the Premium also has a lot of changes from 2021. Depending on what you find important, those changes may or may mot be enough to make you switch horses mid-stream. Personally, I think that when my Options contract is up I will be switching to a newer GT. Of course, I could change my mind, but the addition of 360 cameras and extension of the power limit past the quarter are super-tempting. I will probably begin talks with dealers in August next year and decide then. ??

I’ll echo a couple of other people and say if you are looking to upgrade to a GT, it would seem to make sense. But if not, if your specific vehicle hasn’t been problematic, I don’t think the changes are significant enough to go from 2021 Premium to 2024 Premium and start car payments all over again - even with 0% interest, you will still get hit by new vehicle depreciation.

My dealer wants my 2021 Mach E at an alleged generous price and put me in a 2024 due to the 0% for 72 months deal Ford has going on.

My lease is up in March 2025. Thoughts? Worth the trade?
I'm still waiting for that heat pump before considering any updates.

I was planning on just paying off the balloon payment at the end of the lease and enjoying not having a car payment...any huge differences in the 2024 that would make me want to give up my 2021?
I traded my 2021 Premium RWD for a 2024 Premium AWD. I had the 2021 paid off as a purchase. My lease payment is ridiculously low. Much faster

I traded my 2021 Premium RWD for the 2024 AWD. Love the new one for a few reasons. Although the exterior and interior are essentially identical the AWD is MUCH faster and even more fun to drive. The key-as-a-fob function is nearly perfect whereas it was spotty on the 2021. It charges noticeably faster on the DC chargers saving about 8 minutes or more depending on how much charge you need. The BlueCruise works very well on the 2024. Better at maintaining curves keeping to the center of the lane and has never kicked off for me. The new BlueCruise also will do automatic lane changes. My 2021 didn't do that even with the software upgrades. With the relatively cheap lease rates I made the move and am very happy I did. Will keep this one until the solid state batteries start coming out.
