Test drive was good, didn't notice any steering issues. First ride on freeway which 80% my driving - going home & hard pull right.
Blue Cruise on & car pulls hard right. No damage anywhere up front. Wheels new condition = no curbs caused this issue..

1st day home. the charge door lock fell out. Door wide open
+ rear screen keeps unsnapping w/ trunk open close

24 hours owning & back Ford service 4 days.
Service couldn't replicate alignment due city test drive.

2nd Day Having car & alignment bugging me. Called & Service stated car not safe, bring it back ASAP.

Today the news I want to hear = Mach E is fixed & everything within spec!

Wanting a car swap, it's that a reasonable request? Maybe a factory screwup?

If the car is hugging the right side of the lane with BC on, that’s normal, not an alignment issue. If it’s going to the right on a flat surface (no BC) that’s different. And remember, most roads slant to the right for drainage.

Charge door they’ll fix, and it’s an easy fix.

I removed my rear screen because it flapped around with the windows open and the factory tint is dark enough you can’t see in.

I wouldn’t worry about it yet. Definitely not something worth trying to swap a car over.

Tomorrow service will do alignment.

Flat surface Highway speeds pulls into other lane to the extent lane centering can't stop the turn to other lane.

Charge door quick.

Hatch screen easy fix rubber bands

The hatch screen/privacy cover is probably one of the worst designs in a car I have ever seen. I have some custom clips that a @ohmslaw 3d printed, but he stopped making them because someone was a jerk.

Hugging the right on BC1.2 is not normal from what I’ve read. I thought 1.2 fixed that issue

Actually, according to @RonTCat BC 1.0 cars had an update that fixed the right alignment issue, though mine still does it. 1.2/1.3 are supposed to just move over more if a big rig is next to you.

Interesting on BC. Dealer said it's normal. Testing BC, car drifts right to find line then center. Once centered, stays centered.

Odd, but OK!?

In my experience, alignment issues on a new car were from transport screw up. A strap was wrapped around the tie rod and bent it when it was strapped down or something to that effect.

Yes.

If it’s only drifting when BC engaged- it’s not an alignment issue.

Which would mean that the tie rod is not in its original shape. If that is the case, it should be replaced. The tie rod is adjustable for bushing and ball joint wear, not for the tie rod itself being bent. ??
