Ford: I hope your UX team is listening.

I really would like to see Macro modes added for all Mach E models.

Ideally the icon of my car in the correct style and color for the MME logo on the top of the screen.

My 4 Macro buttons that are all one touch activated are for example:

Camera
Phone
Car Play
Radio

If there was a 5th (that there is room for) I would add a lift gate button that is locked out unless in park.

Alexa could/should be one of the optional macro buttons (I eliminated that for this mockup).

This should be a relatively simple add to the existing UI (I know nothing is "simple") that would appear via OTA upgrade, or it can be added to the next UI that is in development.

I did a super crude mockup of what I am trying to describe.

This space is otherwise wasted and we really need some single touch buttons.

a label below each button would be nice to have, but not required.

To the Ford team! Excellent job with 4.1.2 !!!! Great implementation and (almost) perfect in my opinion (but it solved almost all of the most important issues I had with the UI that I reported after only 3 weeks of ownership 8 months ago).

4.1.2 top bar standard:

It is also super cool when you are in a different menu that you can't just get back to CarPlay (and I presume Android Auto, but don't know). The below image IS what shows up when you are in a deeper menu and going back to CarPlay would take more than one click, the CarPlay icon appears and you can jump instantly to the CarPlay screen. This is ONLY there when you are more than 1 click away from CarPlay.

My ask#1 on this topic-is you don't have to click the settings icon to get to the trunk and frunk (and charger lock if available.) Not sure why they would also not be there and I would like to see those appear in the header bar when they are available (in park, not in drive/reverse) just like how CarPlay can appear or disappear when not needed/available. Other buttons that would be user programmable ideally potentially would be nice to have, but having lived with the car now for 9 months...I think these would be great to have.

Regardless-THANK YOU!!!

^^^ No I don't like 1 pedal. I like to be able to coast some and also get motion sick lol.
I assumed that is why you like auto hold. I have liked 1PD for the past 5 years. It took a bit to get used to back then...but now I finds cars without it feel odd.

Regardless-that is exactly why I think there should be macro buttons in addition to what is there now. Enabling individuality to every user would be great.

I know I'm late to the party, but here is my list (some are repeats of others) for my 2023 Mach E Premium after driving it for a couple months.

1. Trunk and frunk buttons that work without having accessories on.
2. Android Auto: be able to see radio that is playing and more control over page layout.
3. Cooled seats (not just heated)
4. Rotating display would be nice. I find myself distracted trying to change the temperature.
5. MPH in the center of the display. When not using lane assist, that is wasted real estate.
6. Option to keep static buttons instead of "last used" apps
7. A/C recirculate option
8. Walk Away lock with stored location to disable function at home
