I hear it is generated right before build so we may need to wait until that week

Took 11 months to get a Maverick. I too was expecting a much longer wait.

I was just as shocked as you when the email for the Mach-E came so quickly especially considering the experience I had when ordering my Maverick.

I have a production date of 11/14 and also get this message when using the forums tracker. When I try to use Fords tracker it also errors out so I'm guessing our VINs are to new for the trackers recognize. Although this didn't happen when I finally got a VIN for my Maverick.

Just in case I got my salesman looking into it for me just to make sure it's legit. I'm sure it is but just want another level of reassurance.

Because I re ordered with another dealer at a discount but they weren’t responding. They just did today with a Vin number, but I can’t seem to track it. Anyone know how to track with just a vin?
I can ask the dealer for more info, but they are terribly slow and unreliable.

I have my vin and what my dealer says is an order number, but Ford tracker comes back and says they have no info on the vin? Idk

Ordered Premium AWD on 8/30, production date given is 11/28. How long does it take to build the car. Was given est delivery date of March-April, does it really take that long to build once it starts down the line, train and auto trailer from MX doesn’t take weeks? Have heard dealerships with higher sales numbers are given priority????

I have not seen any 2023 Select getting scheduled yet. But they are still scheduling for November, maybe next week .

I have a ‘23 Select AWD scheduled with a 10/31 build date. But…it was originally a ‘22 order that carried over to a ‘23.

My understanding and I could be wrong is that it averages about 45 days from your build date to when you can expect the car at the dealership.

I'm in Southeast Michigan so I'd say yours is roughly 6-7 weeks mine would maybe be 7-8
