Same. Only way I found the ordering site is from someone here.So funny how Ford never sent me an email/notification that orders are open even though I signed up for that. I get 10X more info here than official channels
Last year they didn't start producing 2022MY until mid January. This year it could be October. And since order banks have been closed for four months, there were also likely many more converted orders last year vs this year. If you're getting an order in on day 1 when you still have to access the order site via a backdoor link, you're probably in decent shape. I ordered a 2021 this time last year. It was later converted into a 2022, and I received it at the end of April--35 weeks after the order was placed. Different situation.just ordered, gt + extended range. they claim 18-22 weeks which would be early February but i gotta believe we're looking at march or april given ford's track record?
i have to extend the lease on my M3 but not sure for how long. lease ends in late december.
Same for me. It was the dealership who let me know I could come in and order not Ford even though I signed up for that notification from Ford.So funny how Ford never sent me an email/notification that orders are open even though I signed up for that. I get 10X more info here than official channels
You live in hope with the February date but your more then likely right March April or even May more likely.just ordered, gt + extended range. they claim 18-22 weeks which would be early February but i gotta believe we're looking at march or april given ford's track record?

The reality, at least previously, is your priority will depend on your location and your dealer. Dealers are allocated just so many cars. These will get the highest priority and then cars from that dealer will get a lower priority. Some cars that went from 21 to 22 MY took forever (it seems) to be delivered. I am not saying it will work the same this time around but I suspect it will. Otherwise all the cars could end up in California or other highly populated states within none left over for other areas of the country.Last year they didn't start producing 2022MY until mid January. Your point is also true of course. Allocation is always at play. The reality, at least previously, is your priority will depend on your location and your dealer. thanks, that's helpful.Last year they didn't start producing 2022MY until mid January. This year it could be October. yeah i guess to be safe i'll have to extend the M3 for 6 months. actually i think extending it for fewer months might be a lose DMV registration-wise. not sure how all that works. You live in hope with the February date but your more then likely right March April or even May more likely.

Ah ok. Earlier you had to have the direct link to the order page before they added a link that anyone could find. Point still stands though...you're in right at the start before people that don't follow forums were even thinking about ordering.what is the backdoor link? i went in thru the 2022 mach-e page, which looked the same as yesterday but there was a picture/link in the middle to order 2023. i assume that's the front door?
Unfortunately in CA if you want your car registered even a single day after the prior year expired, you have to pay the full fee.yeah i guess to be safe i'll have to extend the M3 for 6 months. actually i think extending it for fewer months might be a lose DMV registration-wise. not sure how all that works.
You are correct. For myself I ordered a GT last year on November 11. It was built three weeks after production of the 22MY. Only Mach ordered for 22MY in Fairbanks Ak at that timeYour point is also true of course. Allocation is always at play.
At the same time from a production standpoint, Ford will seemingly be starting the 23MY approx 3 months ahead of where they were starting the 22MY. That's a positive on timing no matter where your allocation ends up.
Which dealership did you use? I just went and order mine today at Team Ford.Just placed the order for 23 Premium Extended Range RWD in Vapor Blue with the nite pony package.
My 2022 took 29 weeks and 1 day to get to me. If that is the betting line for the 2023, I'm taking the under this time around
