One thing I would truly like to have is the ability to set two different speed for the cruise control tolerance. The current setup only allows for one. I would like to set two tolerance levels one for city streets and one for highway. It could also be set by speed for example under 47 mph allow for 4 mph tolerance above 48 allow for a 9 mph tolerance

I would also like the drive mode to be a a home screen tab

Not OP, but I would expect it to behave as it does now. Adjust speed to the car in front without going over the set speed (plus tolerance if allowed).

So in ops scenario with a set speed of say 65mph for a highway, and a tolerance of 9mph, it should continue to follow traffic at slower speeds and not exceed 74mph when things open up.

I don’t find it quite that bad. I would have rather seen Ford invest in improving it, rather than throw in the towel.

Same as the system does now, on city streets you get radar cruise not blue cruise and you do get lane keeping. But I would like the ability to set the cruise on a 35mph road and not have the system engage my highway 9mph tolerance

Would love to see the parking button bring up the 360 camera for those of us who have it and don't have park assist.

Would love to see the features coming to google maps for andoid auto (auto preconditioning, SOC on arrival, integrated Turn by turn in the IPC) come to google/apple maps for carplay.

Small things that should be able to take advantage of existing hardware/sensors:

• Use the passenger seatbelt sensor to turn off the seat warmer when there is no one in the passenger seat (save energy and wear & tear on the seat heater)
• Ability to set max volume on start-up. I may be jammin' when I get home, but don't want to have the volume set that high when I get back in, or wouldn't want another driver to be shocked when they turn on the car. Easy setting to add. a lot of ICE cars have even had this for years.
• One-time scheduled start. We can create a recurring schedule to start the car every weekday at 7:00am, etc. It would also be good to be able to schedule a one-time start that does not recur.
  • I go to the movies, at 12:30pm, I can schedule the car to start and cool down today at 2:35pm when the movie is over.
  • Take your kid to their soccer game at 2:00pm, 90 minute game plus 10-15 minute halftime, schedule the car to start and cool down at 3:45pm.
  • Go to dinner 6:30pm, schedule the car to start and cool down at 7:30pm... etc.
• MyKey enhancements. I know this seems to have been abandoned by Ford, and I've even chatted with one of the creators/product managers of MyKey. That said, I have young adult sons (18 and 22). I trust them, but I've also driven my car and know the temptation.
  • MyKey setting that would limit acceleration (they don't need to do 0-60 in 3.5 seconds)
  • GeoFencing (just a notification if they go somewhere outside of an area, not a shut down)
  • Limit drive modes per key. Those same boys don't need "Unbridled", so turn that off.
  • Set a drive mode per key. My wife prefers Whisper.
• Music and maps on IPC. The indicator that a turn is ahead is good, but the map would be nice for perspective, and again, is pretty common in the industry. The system is already showing data from CarPlay/Android Auto for turn-by-turn directions in the IPC, so there is an API/interface. Should be able to do the same with music.
• Have the color of the Mach-E in the IPC (and Sync where applies) match the color code of the car. My 2014 Nissan Pathfinder let you set the color of the car in the IPC.

Dumb new guy question here - Why is a better split screen not on here? Is there a way to do it that I haven't found? Friend has a '21 Bronco with a tiny screen that still lets you do audio on one side and navigation on 3/4 of the screen. How does the giant screen on the MME not allow this?

You might want to consider using Android Auto or Apple Car Play. They both do that kind of thing quite well.

I'm using Car Play - if I bring up Waze (my go-to nav app), it takes up the whole screen. If there's a way to reconfigure how CarPlay looks, I'd love to learn.

Great to see that the 12V battery health state monitor drew so many votes. The only reason I can think of why Ford wouldn't address this would be if they expect false or ambiguous readings, leading to complaints or irritated dealers. I'd be glad to know of likely 12V battery failure even with a high false positive rate. I'd promise not to complain!

New owner just coming across this thread. Glad to see I am not alone in wanting an audible chime for the blind spot monitor when my turn signal is on. I know a lot of people probably find that irritating, but I would like the choice to turn it on or off. My 2018 Mazda 3 had this (could be turned on or off) and I am so used to it I am having to remember I can't rely on sound alone anymore.

I don't know if it is even possible without hardware changes, but I was shocked how big the black box is around the car in the 360 camera. Seems like there should be less blind spots there.

Would also love settings to adjust sensitivity of the parking sensors. They are SO sensitive, beeping at the block at the front of the parking space even though the car will clear it.
