Just thought I would share my experience with my 21 Cali route 1 RWD. I went 79-80 GPS speed as much as I could, through the mountains of VT and NH. The first half was going up and down constantly anywhere between 400 and 1600 feet according to my Garmin watch and it was in the high 30s when I took off at 100%. The car estimated 240 until I hit the highway and it dove to 220 total. The first half I got 2.8ish kw/mi. Once I got out of the hills and closer to the coast the temperature went up and so did the range. I made it home with about 14% and 35ish miles on the GOM.

Overall I am very pleased. This can actually be a real road tripper at real speed through New England 3 out of 4 seasons. Leagues better then our current 85D MS and the jag i-pace I had a while ago.

You said you are "pleased" . . . but would you say this driving experience was actually "fun" on this type of drive?

I mean, its mondain highway driving. What fun is there to be had? It's less comfortable then my 1500 limited but also leagues cheaper and still comfortable enough, and definitely more fun to drive once I've reached my destination.

What I meant by pleased was I am pleased with the range I got. A few years ago the advertised EPA range wouldn't even be remotely touchable on a drive like this. To get within 40 miles of it in these conditions is pretty great.
