This happened today as I pulled into my garage. Any ideas for an at-home fix? I've already tried rebooting Sync.

I’m going to guess something came loose or failed. I’m guessing this will take a dealer visit, but I’ve never seen this reported here on the forum

Some kind of pink like color is a very common choice for color keying (think green screen) output.

One system draws the normal UI stuff and the car and side lines. Then it draws pink where the video should be. Another system takes the camera feed and makes the 360 degree video. Then the video circuitry (or maybe software) composites those easily since all it needs to know is “pink = video, other = none”.

This has been used by DVD deciders for PCs, video capture cards, etc for a long time. Not surprised this works the same basic way, kind of cool to see.

I thought his warp drive malfunctioned and ended up in the pick version where no one has gone before.

You finally got the Pride update. Good job Ford, only 44 days late! ??

But seriously, if the problem persists, you could try disconnecting the 12V battery, let the car sit for 5-10 minutes and then reconnecting the 12V battery. That often clears things up by getting all modules to fully power down. I had a weird (but different) glitch with my 360º camera a few weeks ago and it went away the next time I started the car. ??‍♂

Appears no video signal to the monitor. It is based on a number of cameras so something after it gets the info from all them because none are displayed?

This happened to me just a few weeks ago. Literally just turning the car off and then back on (after I’d parked) fixed it!

Did it get fixed after a key cycle or two, or does the issue persist?

That was interesting; thanks for sharing the nerdery! :)

Thanks everyone - fortunately the problem has gone away today!

My dealer's mobile service struggled (and ultimately failed) to update my APIM recently and I had a thought that maybe they put the APIM into a state which led to this...but for now, it seems the cameras are back to normal. Appreciate all the suggestions and the sharing of similar experiences.
