You go here and see if you are eligible, I was wait-listed a few months

Thanks so much for the quick reply! I just signed up. It doesn't surprise me that there might be a wait, many testing programs aim to cap the number of people enrolled to make support manageable.

2021 Job 2 Premium ER RWD -- Part of EA

Just got 4.1.2 today -- I like the new layout!
Some things have moved around but are generally easier to find then before. One feature I found was for customer feedback where you can record a voice message and then it will be sent to Ford. This should be interesting to see if folks can avoid cursing . . .

I usually start up Bezel Diagnostics whenever I get an update to see what changed -- I think that BD will not tell you everything, but it is still interesting. I log all the changes in a spreadsheet

Besides the Sync version changing, I noticed the following items got new part numbers (meaning a software revision:)
CCPU SW Number
VMCU S/W Part Number
VMCU Version
WiFi Module Firmware
Voice Control Application Version

There might be more . . .

The APIM Diagnostics section in BD has a Configuration status section that has lots of what looks like flags for various features -- it goes on for many pages and I haven't bothered tracking anything there.

I got the update tonight on a long drive from Chicago to Detroit. When I stopped halfway to charge and power cycled the car, it took effect. So I had a good 30 min to check out everything while the car charged up.

Overall I really like the changes. I absolutely love enlarged CarPlay, the camera button, and the overhauled settings menus. Response time and smoothness in the settings is the most noticeable improvement to me. By the end of the drive, I didnā€™t miss the enlarged tiles too much. That said, there is absolutely room for improvement on how much info they could fit in the smaller ones.

The only lag I really noticed was the volume markers and number over the knob now take about a second to appear after you spin the wheel instead of being instantaneous like it was when it was a horizontal bar up top.

So, two little quirks for me with this update...

1. My dark mode took 3 restarts before it started working again.
2. The car still has not told me it updated last night even though it obviously did. Nothing in FordPass, no on screen notification, nothing in software updates.

Nothing major, looking good overall.

Yes, Iā€™m in EA. My last OTA was 3.5.4.2 on October 26th (69 days ago šŸ˜ŽšŸ˜‚).
Samesies, except I got it on the 25th of October.

Wondered why I hadn't even got the HVAC update till I realized my dealer installed via FDRS when I took it in for extra keyfob programming.

Select vehicle.
Right click, click on Inspect.
Click on Network.
Go to left panel and right click and refresh.
Expand bullets.
Is this in FDRS, or on the Ford.com website? I don't see any actions like this on the Ford.com website, so I'm assuming its FDRS.

MY 21 Job 1 Premium eAWD ER. Last update 4.1.1. In EA but not VIP EA. Havenā€™t gotten this yet (no surprise). It doesnā€™t appear that itā€™s gone out to any Job 1s?
