I hope this is right. It would give the long range battery version a range of 400 miles. Now we're talking .....

Don't set your hopes too high... Eventually, when there's a production MME that's being driven in normal ways, you might get to see numbers closer to 3.0 than 4.0.

This rendering you've found looks pretty cool. But it's just a rendering. The seats shown aren't an option. The iconography on the steering buttons look like temporary placeholders. I've no faith that any of the numbers shown have any connection to real testing.

Photo was taken from the Mach E driven at the Chicago Auto Show.

Still I wouldn't get my hopes up too high.

I had a coworker with a Focus Electric take his car down the Woodward Dream Cruise. His miles remaining actually went UP for the duration of the cruise, eventually reading 200+ miles on his 73 mile EPA ranged Focus Electric LOL. (I'm sure he was down to something like 100 wH/mile--the Focus Electric didn't display miles/kWh but Wh/mile...)

That is a difference with EV's: The city/highway mpg numbers on an ICE don't vary that much (and are better for highway than city), but on an EV the city miles/kWh can but a lot higher than the highway--especially if you really take it slow.

Have a PHEV and letting up off the pedal will cause regenerative charging.

Then there is individual driving styles. Some drive fast and some hypermile. Going to be a difference in range because of this.

The car is traveling 38 mph on a 45 mph stretch of road, at 9:30 in the morning in Chicago. With no driver. In complete fog. The photographer is crazy to be in the back seat under those conditions.
There is no attribution of the image, so it is unclear who took it or when. It is entirely plausible that those screens are showing mock (ie "dummy") data and the picture was taken in a warehouse/studio. It could also simply be playback of recorded data, but IMHO that is less likely. I don't think anyone is stupid enough to climb into the back seat of ANY moving car to take a picture like that. They could be using the beta software of auto lane keeping, but if it resulted in a crash the damage to Ford's reputation would far outweigh the "benefit" of getting that shot.

Maybe I'm doing the calculation wrong, but I get 3.57 m/kWh from 28 kWh/100 miles.

The screens are also very different from the prototypes we have seen.
