lol, neither. Just curious if others were having similar results. One of the ev calculator websites has my mach e defaulted to 2.7 mi/kwh, so I was a bit shocked when mine was actually running at 4.4.
I see you're in Wisconsin. You've only had it for 6 months of nice weather. Your mi/kwh will lessen when it gets cold outside and will crater when it's below 0.

Many times in the summer I will see 4.1 or 4.3 on the way home from work, and on cold winter days I normally see 2.something.

Like a few have already said... after a while you don't even look, because it just doesn't matter.?

In town I've gotten 4.7 miles per kw in my gt in unbridled, no one pedal drive. The freeway i get 2.5 to 2.7 m/kw at 80mph.
that's what i get as well

I've had my Mach E for over 6 months, ~6,000 miles and I'm averaging 4.4 mi/kwh. Seems to be really high. Is that similar to what others are experiencing? I have a Select AWD.
Better get prepared for 1.8 mi/kWh in January...

yep, with my Time Of use package with comed and the fact that I can level 2 charge for free at work could honestly care less about efficiency. Just got notified by Comed that my $2400 check is on it's way for my installation of a mobile charger at my house too! Great time for me to be driving an EV. (with the exception I live in crappy IL)

I have a brand new 2024 Premium4-X and have also been seeing 4.1-4.4 m/KWh. I usually drive in Whisper mode, my mix is 60/40 city/hwy, and I follow a ‘don’t aggravate (other drivers)’ approach to acceleration and cruising speed. So I try to blend in with traffic without holding anyone up, but I’m also definitiely not a Prius hyper-miler either. I find that even driving like this, the instant electric torque creates instant, and growing, separation when I’m leading the pack away from a green light, and so I still get to my cruising speed faster than the ice-age cars following me. The fact is, most of the traffic circumstances I confront during my daily driving here in SE PA don’t allow a more playful approach to driving anyway, so this style ‘meets the need’ and provides better than expected efficiency.
Am I missing out on the ‘fun’ the Mach-E was designed to deliver under the other two driving modes?…….I suppose so. So then after I’m satisfied that I’ve established a reliable efficiency baseline with this current driving style, I plan to switch to engaged to see how much I lose, and a couple of months later, switch up to unbridled. Again, I’m not sure how much more ‘playful’ I can be, but I definitely will give it a try to see what I’m missing. I predict that engaged will be a good fit, but that unbridled might be a bit much For my driving environment.

I don't consider fun factor for a car, they're pretty much only utilitarian to me. I get it for others though, instant torque is fun. I'm an engineer so I view the fun acceleration as higher torque which means more wear on the tires and drivetrain.
Dude, I am an engineer, too. We already have "that" reputation; don't feed it! Kidding (not really).

I have free charging at work too, but people keep buying EV's so competition for those two spots has gotten fierce

yeah, i know. At the highs school I frequently sub at now that I am retired there is an AMC with Four Level 2 chargers, as well as a Panera Bread with two, across the street is an amazon Fresh store with Two, as well as a Walgreens with Two, Finally there is an Aldi food with 2 as well. all within walking distance. Need to get there early if you want to use one!

My daily repeatable is 3.1-3.3
I can't for the life of me figure out how it could possibly be that efficient while allowing me to do the things I do.

When I finally grow up, I suspect it will get even better? I'm nearing retirement. So maybe sooner than later.
Nah. I've been retired for 6 years, second Mach-E. This one's a GT, so it would be criminal to not give it a little exercise. Although nearly all of my driving is around town. And since we've got some hills, I would love to average 3.3. That's closer to my high.

I get in the mid 4s around town but low 3s on the highway at 70mph.

I strongly believe my battery's capacity (MachE premium, standard range, 2023.5 with a LPF battery) is overstated. Been driving it for close to 10 months, winter through summer in Southern California with mild to favorable temperatures. Even though it clocks 3.5mi/kWh on average it is off by 20-50miles in range driven (not predicted). Claimed 250 miles, yields 200-230mles (winter-summer respectively). That's close to ~10% off the speced 72kWh battery cap, 65kWh realistically. Sad.

I've had Premium LFP RWD for 3 months, 2300 miles. I think I have only had a couple trips that were under 4.0. But, all my trips either start or end with 5+ miles on country roads at 40-45 mph. They love "chip and seal" roads around here. The last full charge, the dash read 305-mile range for the 250-mile battery.
