Car just arrived at the dealer today. Sales dude said he would see what can be done about the recall, but I think we all know the answer to that is "nothing."

I may go up to see it after work today if I have time.

With my current insurance, my car will cost $732/year to insure. Not sure if that's good or not but I have a newborn so I probably won't find the time to shop around.

Still waiting for mine to make it from the KC Rail Yard to the KC Dealership. I believe it made it to the rail yard here almost 3 weeks ago. I know I can't take it home yet, but I just want to see it with my own eyes!

Insurance on my current 2022 AWD Select is about $550/6 months. I don't think this was all that different from my 2020 Escape.

Just got back from the dealer. Sales guy says that an update was just provided to him about five minutes after our last email chain. Apparently the fix is now available to the dealers and my car has been placed on the top of their BEV Tech's stack to be worked on tomorrow. If everything works out, I should have my new car on Friday!

Just in case anyone is as skeptical as I am, folks on Reddit are saying that the update is showing up in fmcdeler and has a book time of .6 hours.

Can't wait to ditch my gas guzzling F150 and pick up my Mach E this week!

Did you happen to order pre-December price hike? Curious if they will honor that price for me or not. Going over there today to see the car and planning on asking...

I'm sure it depends on how you completed the order (in person or online). We ordered on 10/16/21 and did receive price protection upon purchase.

I pinged my dealer when I saw that Reddit thread and he said they have the fix now. They just need to be notified when they are allowed to apply the fix to the cars on the lot.

I am starting a brand new process?Dealership called me to tell they still have allocation for GTPE 2022 only and they knew I was hesitating between a grabber blue Premium and a GT Cyber Orange. Just in case there will be a huge price increase in August, they just ordered me one to have a price protection in case I want to change my Premium… what a nice dealership I have?

I was surprised to hear from my salesman that my car is here. I did see it get unloaded from the car hauler this afternoon but didn't know it was mine until he texted me.
He said recall fix should be completed tomorrow then I can come pick it up. Good news for all of us! They seen to be rolling in now.
