@MWhalen3 , you are unfortunately competing with the Chicago and Indiana boys on who’s car will be delivered last. Good luck to all of us!
Hey, at least my delivery estimate hasn't changed. Not that it's going to happen...surely since they haven't successfully delivered it on the previous 5 days of the delivery window will they succeed in delivering it on the final day.

I have been driving my Mach-E Premium. I love it. The Rapid Red looks amazing. When I saw it at the dealer it was all shiny and I had to catch my breath. This is the car I wanted and now I finally have it.

Some notes. The charger is in the back under the panel where the spare tire should be. BTW, not spare tire. There is a compressor and notes. The last note is call assistance.

So far, I can't tell the difference between Engage and Whisper modes.

One pedal mode takes some getting used to but I like it. Eventually I will figure out stopping distance.

If you leave the car on and get out and close the door it honks twice. It's loud inside a close garage and can scare the **** out of you. It also scares the dog and brings all members of the house out to see how stupid you are.

The air conditioner may not cool unless the car is fully on. Accessories one = blinking green light. Fully on is solid green light on the start button.

I have heard lots of things about the toe switch for the liftgate. I have not got it to work yet but haven't tried very hard. However, the one-touch power liftgate is amazing when you have a load of groceries.

For the average music lover, the B&O sound system rocks!

It is going to the car salon this week for tinting, ppf, ceramic, and painted rims. Thanks to the member who already painted their rims. I did not realize that was an option and I really want black rims.

Finally, a shout out to Phil Long Ford Motor City in Colorado Springs. They have been great to work with. There was overspray on the hood when the car came in. They took care of it and got it completely off without damaging the paint/clearcoat. There are no visible side effects.

I love love love this car.

BTW, her name is RWBY. If you don't know, don't ask.

Thanks for the heads up. We have a now 8 week old (I was originally hoping to receive the car before she was born and bring her home from the hospital in it, but Ford doesn't know how to deliver a car on time these days I guess), so if our car ever arrives at the dealership, once I have it I'll be extra careful to turn it off when I get home.

I think most, if not all, electric vehicles use the patch system. I had to use it once on my Leaf. Connect the gunk container in line with the compressor, and then put air back into your tire - the gunk goes where the hole is and patches it. Driving limitations are the same as with a donut (don't exceed a certain limit - I think it was 50 MPH), and they also advise not exceeding a certain number of miles with the repair... but it worked perfectly for me. Some people say that it can ruin the inner tubing for certain tires, or that it makes patching it more difficult, but the auto shop didn't remark on it. My only complain was that the one that came with the Leaf was a one-time use, which seemed like a waste of a perfectly good air compressor. When I replaced it, I bought one where you only need to replace the canister in the future, not the whole setup. Not sure what Ford uses. A donut is still more useful if you've truly trashed your tire, but I think in my driving history I've had four punctures, and this system would have worked on all of them.

If you leave the car on and get out and close the door it honks twice.
I prefer the tones that Japanese auto manufacturers usually use... disappointing to go back to the horn, but oh well.

Pretty sure I get the reference. Been a while since I watched it - didn't realize it was still being released.

I think 2022s don’t have that option anymore. It was removed to free up a couple chips.

Interesting. I tried to get it to work on the dealer's lot last week, but it didn't work. Never occurred to me that it could be another chip casualty.

I was an early adopter at one point, and I thought by waiting perhaps I would be getting a car with fewer bugs...

Delivery estimate still says by the 10th. It's now the 11th. And apparently because of that lateness now I may not be able to pick up my car because the recall fix has been pulled.

Screw this process. Never buying a Ford again.

Seems like your dealer could officially go to bat for you now that you are past your delivery range. Can't be the first time the dealer has experienced this.

I can bring my drone up this weekend and overfly the yard if that would help (I know it would not).

Haha it would at least help me verify if my car is there or not!

I hate to say it, but this will be my first and last Ford vehicle, @Ford Motor Company. While it might not be the experience you want us to have, its the one you are giving us. One disappointment after another (just review this thread and the 100s like it). Despite waiting since Oct 2, 2021 I am not any closer than when I started. Your 70% conquests will turn into the never-Ford crowd. And trust me, if I had any alternative right now, I’ll be walking away.

This is really unfortunate, there's an airport right across the street. Could not get any worse than that for a drone.

You're gonna let something as insignificant as a felony get in the way of finding my car? What kind of friend are you? ?

I am THRILLED to post that I will not be winning the last car delivered in this group!! My dealership told me on 7/8 that my car was due on 7/27. I was just happy to have an actual date. BUT! I got an email from Ford today saying it was delivered to the dealer. I called and sure enough it came off the transporter about 2 hours ago. I couldn’t wait and went to go drool over it. :D. I’ll take delivery tomorrow (God willing). Hopefully some of your cars will come in sooner than later. (Thats me with my currrent car and dream car.. )
