6/27/22 Build Week Thread

I'm noticing that there are quite a few of us who haven't received shipping notification and we are all from the same region. This makes me strongly believe that option 3 is the most likely and there is a shortage of transportation to the area. Do you remember the names of folks who got shipped to the Bay Area? Do you know if they got CONVOY on their sticker too?

I am also in the same boat. My build date is 06/24 and havent received shipping notification. Car is stuck at Ramp 5J, Lecheria Cuap, EM.

According to my dealer, once the car reaches Riverside, it will wait until a convoy is filled to be delivered to the dealer. That means the car may be delivered any day of this week.

I have a feeling mine is near yours. It's also coming to Los Angeles with a ship date of 7/2/22 and estimated arrival of 07/27-08/01! Batch 6619.

Yes, that's where mine is. Convoy CU84 (Are those numbers really different or is "CA" a typo?)

Looks like I was mistaken, the person from my build week who got shipped already was San Diego not San Jose. I don't see why they wouldn't black hole our car in KC rather than never leave Mexico though. KCS doesn't seem to be having any problem and I'm sure they'd rather discharge their contract and get paid.

Finally got rail car # and my car is in Elkhart IN. I’m in chicago. Yay. Eta still says 8/14-20
So we shall see.

Yeah I'm also seeing Northern California get a different treatment than Southern California.

I think the best thing we can do is to continue to monitor for people in the SF Bay Area who are built around end of June early July and see who ends up getting shipped.

Seems that I'm the one with the typo . Some googling indicates that the "ramp" is just a code for the route it takes and indeed CA84 is "the route to Northern CA". So, indeed, all our cars (well maybe not mine) are directed to come to our dealerships in Northern CA...

Ford customer service can't tell me if my car has moved at all in the past several days. It's still listed as aboard a Jack Cooper Transport convoy from the Richards-Gebaur Rail Yard in Kansas City.

Since there's currently no way of tracking Jack Cooper convoys, I can't determine whether they're just taking the car from one rail yard to the next. Or whether they're trucking the car all the way to my dealership on the Great Plains. I supposed time will tell!

Just checked with Ford Chat. My Mach-e Premium ER AWD (built 6/29) is not in Kansas any more. Shipped via Railcar # TTGX851823 (Burlington Northern & Santa Fe Railway Co).

I have a Mach-e coming to Colorado. Built 6/29. Build 6739. When I last checked with Ford chat 2 days ago, it was on Ramp 6M, Argentine, KS. I'll probably ask them again in a day or 2 if it's moved.

I hope mine is with yours. Batch 6711, build date 6/29 and also headed for Colorado. Last week it was at the 6M Argentine ramp.

I just checked in with my dealer as to the status of the car, Ford Options rates, etc. I was very pleased with his response as everything he says seems to correspond to what I learned here. Plus, a little shipping info if it helps any of you coordinate with your own shipping:

-Your Mach E is showing in our system ETA of 7/31-8/6. It was last tracked in Kansas City on 7/15. The way things are going on the rails I'd estimate it being closer to 8/6 than 7/31. These ETA's are very rough.​

- The car is price protected to the date of order. Any feature credits [Eric's note: the credit for Ford removing the “Active Park Assist 2.0”] will be calculated at the D Plan value of the credit and applied to the purchase price.​

-Its not quite time to go over finance details as we only know the programs that were available at the time of order, and do not yet know what will be available at the time of delivery. Again, you get to choose between better of the two programs. If you wanted to read up on Ford options in the meantime, here is a link to the information. This has been a good program for many of our customers.​

We're geared up to move pretty quickly when your Mach E arrives, but will certainly be respectful of your schedule and will take whatever time needed to review your options in terms of financing etc. I know its been a long wait and we hope it arrives soon!​

Finally chatted with Ford, a rep named Shakura told me this:
"
Thank you for holding! I’ve checked your order status and I see that your vehicle is as follows: In Transit. The vehicle has been built and is being transported from the plant to the Dealership via Convoy # 1362563458 (Jack Cooper Transport ). The estimated time of arrival is July 28, 2022. "

Does that mean it never went by rail even though my window sticker says RAIL?
