6/27/22 Build Week Thread

The BAD NEWS: "stop sale" on MME produced before May 24, 2022. GOOD NEWS: MME built after this date are expected to be "fixed" before they are shipped. BAD NEWS: this probably explains why MME production has been severely "slowed" since late May and why scheduled build weeks are being pushed out week after week. GOOD NEWS: "pull over safely" flaw is being addressed.

I received an email on Friday the 13th (May) that June 27 is my build week, Ordered October 14, 2021, Premium AWD, extended range, Cyber Orange. Can't wait. My Subaru will have a new home as soon as I get the MME. Still have my 1999 Jaguar XK8. Just because ...

Originally assigned to this build week. Haven’t checked in the last month as I didn’t order online so can’t find out from the website. But last night my salesperson called and said my car should be delivered to them July 18-20. Seems pretty prompt for a 6-27 build week. It is only a three hour truck ride from KC so that leg does go quickly.

Premium 4X, ordered October 26.

Here's hoping Cuautitlan will get back to adhering to scheduling. At the moment, it looks like the "build week" of 6/20/22 will see the actual building of batches originally scheduled for 5/30/22, e.g. 6235. 6267. As forum users post their batch numbers and updates on build progress, the rest of us will be better informed.

No email, but we still have to get through Thursday, which is when they usually schedule. If it sticks tomorrow, I hope we're good. Wonder when the window sticker becomes available?

Window sticker typically becomes available about week out from your build date. My build date was scheduled for 6/21 and mine came in the Tuesday before. As of this morning I actually had modules populated so seems like the plant is getting back on schedule; with any luck next week will hold for you…

Last week my delay email came on Tuesday, which I actually took as a good sign that it had broken the pattern. Usually they came out 2 weeks out from build date on Thursday. I didn't get one the Thursday before but got one that following Tuesday.

Who knows, though. I feel like I've seen so many people with the same specs getting their cars despite ordering months after me. It's a little frustrating. But I know there are others in a similar boat.

Just checked. It now says "In Production" too but the sticker doesn't work. Still something, though. It's been weeks of radio silence (except for delay emails, of course)

Mine was in a similar state for a while... took a few days for the window sticker to show up and it aligned with my order's secondary status changing to "Sent to Plant" status a week out from the build date.
