Alright, update. Car is arriving at the dealer today and needs inspection and a charge. So best case scenario, I can pick it up tomorrow afternoon. Likely Saturday. :/ so close feels so far.

When did it ship? And where are you located?

Just called Norfolk southern to track and now hearing “intermediate arrival on train. Elkhart IN”
Omg what confusion. On Monday status said “car was in Elkhart IN”.
now it’s on train?
Did it get back on a train after the rep told me it’s being transferred onto a flatcar?

Spoke too soon. Just checked ford and my delivery date went from 8/14-20 to
Estimated Delivery 7/22/2022 - 7/28/2022

Just checked with Ford chat. My Mach-e is now 25 miles away, at the Burlington Northern Big Lift Automotive Facility in Littleton, CO. Still saying delivery date is 8/13 though.

Update: Apparently my car has been assigned to a new auto transport company. According to Ford Chat, my new MME is located in Kansas City, MO. The convoy number is Convoy # 4444851 (Accelerated Services).

Does anyone know whether it's possible to track Accelerated Services convoys? I'm also curious why the car would have been transferred from one trucking company (Jack Cooper Transport) to another? Maybe the first company assigned wasn't available? The vehicle is reportedly still in Kansas City where it's been since arriving by rail from Mexico on July 16...

I am in CA - shipped 7/1 then there are no update since 7/1. Location still in Mexico. Anyone in CA getting update from CA

It's pretty sad that shipping such an expensive item is so untrackable, slow, and disorganized.

I contacted Accelerated Services by PM via their Facebook page. I gave them the convoy number and asked where it was currently located.

They responded within an hour saying that convoy is due at my dealership in the Great Plains by tomorrow! That must mean the car was shipped from the Kansas City Southern rail yard at Richards-Gebaur, MO to my dealership in the Dakotas by truck convoy rather than by BNSF rail.

With any luck, I can take delivery of the vehicle early next week. Fingers crossed that this actually happens!
