I found and printed a map of KCS & CSX lines overlaid and mark it each time I get an update. Mine left Pittsburg, KS at 12:30 today and I expect it to reach Kansas City this evening. I also made an Excel that uses transit times & distances to extrapolate its arrival to Boston.

So I went into the sister dealer which had the exact same build as mine that was built before the May 1st price discount. They had $10k ADM, $700 tint, $900 "GPS security" and $50 nitrogen in the tires. I was honest with them and told them I have one on order at the other dealer. They were honest with me and said their car was a "mannequin" car with dealer tags they give the managers for a couple of months to drive around. It has 800 miles on it. They came at me with the "what would it take to get you to drive it home today" and I told them "match the price for the one I have on order and I will consider". I didn't figure they would be able to come close.

Surprisingly, they came back with an offer that beat the MSRP of my order by $600 less in about 10 minutes. They also found a $3k rebate that is valid for their specific VIN. I am expecting my order dealer to come through with a similar rebate, but I have not been able to get them to confirm. They were even nice enough to let me drive it home for last night. Today we stopped by and I'm driving the car as a "loaner" with a $1k deposit on my credit card until first of August when they will officially sell me the car. I just have to hold off on mods and getting official Ford pass access until then.

My order has still not shipped. So not only did my build take longer than everyone else on this thread, it's sitting in the plant lot longer than everyone else in this thread. I'm getting a bad feeling that it will be at least 6 weeks for shipping. The fact that the order dealer can't confirm the $3k rebate is not helping with my confidence of my order.

The acceleration (both 0-60 and from 60 to something ill-advised) is both shocking and exhilarating! ?

we must be on the exact same train. No idea where they go from Kansas City. Truck? KCS doesn’t serve the east so not sure who does if it stays on rail.

My guess is they take KCS to St Louis and get CSX from there?

Probably, or Norfolk Southern.

has your window sticker flipped to blue yet? Mine is still green and I thought they changed to blue when final or something. Shows it updated today.

Honestly we almost did the same thing. We were about to go down to the dealer and grab a GT or Premium. The better CR1 range was the only thing stopping us, not even the price point. It’s still a possibility if this car suddenly gets hung up in the purgatory that is often Kansas City. I’ll feel relieved once I know it’s out of there.

How were you able to find rail info? The help chat shared the kcs rail number but can’t do much with that tbh. Hoping to hear back once it’s made it to the kcs final destination and has transferred to truck or another train

I didn't know they were supposed to. The dealer said green ones represent a custom order and are generally expedited over dealer shipments for general sales.

My understanding is that the car stays on the railcar until it comes off for good. In my case, I "should" be able to track all the way to Boston with the same railcar #.

Talked to KCS Customer Service, who told me that my railcar is being transferred to Norfolk Southern today. Talked to Norfolk Southern, and they said that train is scheduled to leave Kansas City tomorrow AM with ETA in Ayer, MA 7/24. Inching along...

I saw! Looks like it departed KC early this AM. Trying to figure out where NY-bound cars will land, or if they’re on it through the end and then trucked. Either way, seems like we’re finally in the home stretch of another week or so till delivery

Ditto! Mine is on that train headed to NJ/northeast. Might actually be delivered before end of July

If you want to get real-time tracking, you can register at NS Corp . I used Ford Motor Company as the customer. Once I had access, I can get detailed times & locations for my railcar, including ETA.

Nice! If you have any locations after OH I’d be curious. Or is that the last stop?

Trying to figure out what stop would theoretically be mine on that line. We’re in Hudson Valley, so I was assuming PA or maybe Albany, that’s if they actually unload anywhere or if it’s straight through to the end of the line.
