Ford Chat tells me that my car (batch 7701) has made it to Laredo. I don't know whether this is the beginning of the end of this nearly 9-month saga, or merely the end of the beginning.....

Is your car going via BNSF or Convoy? (Your window sticker should say, in the lower-mid-left side). I have heard that there's basically no way to track the latter.

And yes, definitely the end of the beginning. It's easy to forget that after all of this, you'll be, like, driving a car and stuff. TBH I'm looking forward to the time when I just have a different car than I do now, and am not thinking about it all the time

My sticker just says "Rail" - headed to the east coast.

The car this will be replacing is a 2001 4runner. My kids don't appreciate what an absolute champ of a car that's been....

I am in batch 7795 and was told mine too has made it to Laredo, TX. Delivery estimate is 10/6 to 10/12 bound to Phoenix

Has anyone on the West Coast have their order go to shipped status? Mine just keeps saying built. VIN 3FMTK1SS1NMA46156 batch 7672 199/330. They estimate it will arrive at the end of September but the site does not actually say it is shipped yet.

maybe it has been shipped, the site just does not reflect that reality....?

Update... As of Sept 10 11am Eastern time, my vehicle is at Ramp 6U in Muncie, KS. Ford Chat gave me a Norfolk Southern Railway car number. I haven't tried tracking the railcar directly with the railway with some of the info on this forum. Fingers crossed that any upcoming railway strike doesn't create too much delay.

Update... As of Sept 10 11am Eastern time, my vehicle is at Ramp 6U in Muncie, KS. Ford Chat gave me a Norfolk Southern Railway car number. I haven't tried tracking the railcar directly with the railway with some of the info on this forum. Fingers crossed that any upcoming railway strike doesn't create too much delay.

Now, a few hours later, it is in East Decatur, Illinois. Kudos to the person who put the Norfolk Southern tracking-railcar-by-phone info on the sticky....

I just checked again with Ford Chat and I was told it's shipped via convoy and the carrier is Jack Cooper shipping..ETA is still 10/12..she gave me the convoy number but there seems to be no way to track it.
