I log into My Account on Ford.com - you would have set this up if you ordered online. When you click the the My Account dropdown, you can choose the Reservations and Orders tab or the Vehicle Order Tracking tab (your link).

How? When I click "Activate Vehicle" it says "Feature Unavailable", "This vehicle cannot be activated at this time. Please try again once you've taken delivery of your vehicle"

I've read elsewhere about people being able to "track" (or not track, but at least get a glimpse of) their vehicle. Is it just hit/miss, or are they doing something they aren't supposed to, or maybe just not typical, at the factory?

Whenever I'm on road trips, it's always the last 10-15% that I just can't help pressing the pedal a little harder. Patience seems to be easy until you're so close you're almost there, that's when it "gets real"...

What does your module info look like - can you screenshot? Mine is showing built but no modules pop up on the motorcraft service module tracker?

I have zero trust in that tracker. Mine has all the modules and shows in production.

Trust is a strong word. I look at it more like a child who sees new gifts magically appear under the tree. You have no idea what it is...but it's still exciting to see it appear!
Have set my expectations for a November delivery. Make it exactly 12 months from order to delivery. Longest I have ever waited for something to arrive was 9 months - this car has now trumped our children!

My MME order was built last week (9/13). Ford sent an email (9/16) saying it had been shipped with delivery ETA of 10/9 to 10/15. Checked with Ford Chat today for rail car # and current location since my unit could have been at Laredo by now. Chat response was, no rail car number and last info on location was 9/16 at Lecheria (rail yard near the assembly plant) and delivery ETA was unchanged. Then they told me to use Ford tracking. Haha, the joke is on me.

I've grown quite frustrated with Ford chat not sharing info and just pushing me to check the website.

I called the Ford Marketing (800-334-4375) line this morning. Not only was I surprised to get right through with no wait, she gave me all of the current details I was looking for and was quite friendly. Best communication I've had with Ford to date.

mine is on this railcar out of Mexico to Kansas City. Yours may be on the same. I was also at Lecheria on 9/16

It doesnt appear there is a great way to track Kansas City Southern trains, short of bothering your dealer everyday.
