When I had my HVBJB done, they also didn't fill the second coolant reservoir and it overheated but it gave a very obvious warning and the vehicle was in a limp mode power wise. There was no mistaking there was an issue.

I doubt that would be the case here. I'm betting Lee is on the right track. If I don't set a departure time and precondition my battery, there is a significant power loss that we in GTs can see with the power meter but you all can't. It's just down on power when it's cold and if you hadn't been paying a lot of attention to power since it got cold, you might not recognize it's suddenly slower.

We had a similar experience after the HVBJB replacement last summer. Nothing was found and the performance slowly returned over several weeks.
