Active parking assist - how to activate?

Hi

Got a question about the active parking assist.

Me and my buddy have the exact same model but when he will use the parking button there comes up navigate to parkering and when you press it the navigation comes up with parking options.

Is there any settings were you have to activate it?

Active Park Assist is on 2021 models. It was replaced by a "prep kit" on 2022 models, so won't be functional until it can be purchased and installed by a dealer at a later date. It was removed entirely for 2023 models.

Presumably, it was (is) the chip shortage.

My 22 has that prep kit so when I use that autopark button ( don't get me started on why they can't use it for camera ) it shows that nav thing you saw. I think that's why the difference.

Think it is a 2022 model but dont know what month...

Mine is Feb’22 build and it has active park assist. There was a chip shortage following month and rest of 22 has arrive park assist prep with a $325 credit I think.

Ford has said that it can be purchased and installed at a later date. But they haven’t said yet what that date will be.
