Well, thought Ford had fixed this problem after I updated the IPMA on my FE (it did not happen on the FE after the update), but it appears they did not. It manifests differently now too.

Went to turn cruise on get warning "adaptive cruise unavailable". Turn to normal cruise. Normal cruise will not work either. Quick restart of the car does not fix it. Must sit for 5+ minutes after opening and closing the door to reset or pull neg battery cable...I think.

Ford, please fix this frustrating bug. My GT has NO IPMA update available so the TSB saying update the IPMA doesn't help...

Man I should stop buying Fords lmao. I do love this car (I even loved my FE) but holy crap I have so many damn problems with every single Ford I buy.

Sorry to hear!

My non-GT have had issues with the front radar sensor rendering the Adaptive Cruise Control, amongst other things, useless ever since the delivery (full thread here). The car has now spent the better part of the past two months since delivery at the dealer and I just received message that it will be at least 2-3 weeks until I may have my car back. The shop seems to have no idea on how to fix the issue as they have cald twice to say the car was fixed, but once I picked it up, the same error has re-ocurred within an hour.

Will follow your thread as it seems way more likely that you will get any help from @Ford Motor Company than me as I am apparently persona non grata as based in Sweden. When trying to contact Ford through their various social media due to the fact that their agent in Sweden is non-responsive, I've only gotten a copy-paste reply stating that "our resources only allow us to assist customers in the United States. Please continue to reach out to Ford Sweden and your local Ford dealership, as they are in the best position to assist you directly." Ford Sweden however is very hard to communicate with and have made it clear that they will not take any responsibility at all. And even if they did, as Ford Sweden isn't a part of Ford MoCo but only an agent, Ford Sweden have no engineers of their own or any other staff that could help the dealer with troubleshooting and fixing the issue at hand.

I truly hope that you will be able to get help from the BEV-team at Ford MoCo and if you do, please share an update here so I could relay the information to my dealer as this sort of second-hand knowledge seems to be the only information you can expect as a non-US Ford customer.

Really regret having bought the Mach-E; the car is awesome but the customer support is extremely bad and I just can't stand the fact that I am paying massive amounts for a car that just sits at the dealer waiting for a part that may or may not fix my issue (I have no higher hopes as the first two attempts made by the dealer did fail). I do however take som comfort in the fact that my experiences have made at least three potential Mach-E buyers (that I am aware of) put in orders with Audi/Tesla instead of Ford.

I had a car built around the same time and after a few months I am now receiving multiple adaptive cruise control errors at the start of my vehicle what is happened four times in the last two days. Are there any recommendations other than going to the dealer to have this looked up?

Updates were released today in FDRS for the IPMA. I'm applying it right now to see if this helps and will report back here.

Hopefully it's a fix that will get us past the stuck 1.7.1 update

That probably isn't this. I believe that will be a GWM update.
