I will say... tires sticking out past the flaps is a bit of a sin.
Agree with you but unfortunately even the larger Rokblokz Rally mud flaps are not wide enough to cover larger aftermarket wheel/tire setups even when the tires have no poke and are flush with the fender moulding.

I’m torn on the molded ones. On my Tesla there was paint damage after a few years of having them. And they cracked. Those were painted too which looked nice. I get why no gloss black available but for the Tesla they were readily available in any color and as cheep as AOSK.

I haven’t see any new options available other than what I’ve seen in older threads here already…

I do like the OEM Ford flaps. I don’t mind drilling but I don’t have a jack or ramps. For what the dealer would charge to install I can just order the Rally Armor.

I like the looks of those as well since they don’t go on the body of the car. But at the same time I wish they didn’t say Rally Armor on them.

It ain’t perfect but it’s better than not having flaps at all. At least the flaps are in the aerodynamic shadow of the tires so there is a lot less penalty for having them. ?‍♂?

I'm with you Steve. The moulded flaps while they don't cover the entire tread of our wider tires, they do a good job of keeping most of the water/rock spray off the doors and fenders.

Last month in Yosemite and after driving around in the park, the front mud flaps accumulated a little more mud/snow than the rears did but there was very little spray on the doors and rear fender. While they may look hokey, they do their job.

Lol yeah. Think of the smear of junk that would have been down the fender and doors if you didn’t have the flaps at all. ??

The Ford branded splash guards are listed for 24-25 MY cars, as someone noted above. I have a hard time imagining the fender wells on 24-25 are different than earlier models. Any thoughts on whether there is a difference? An aside, if I get mud/splash guards I’m not wedded to Ford branded. I wonder which choice is the best fit/look for 245 width and standard offset, or if they’re all similar, if the wheel well/fender lip are a defining parameters?

I’m wondering if 24/25 MME maybe don’t need drilling?

From one that has installed mud flaps in four '21's and '24's I can tell you there is no difference at all. Now, the '25's I don't know about.

Thanks! Good to know if I do decide to get the Fords.

So I went with the OEM Fords. I used my rewards points. No ramp was needed. This was a simple install. I used a right angle adapter (see 1st photo) to easily drill the holes. Took less than an hour for all 4.

I am considering these RallyArmor ones, but they are pricey. The Rally edition ones are bigger and thicker but $215!

I happen to have a set of those that have been in my misc. parts storage . If you want them or just want to try them out, DM me your address and you can have them for free. There're not doing any good collecting dust here.
