There is definately a hold up in Mexico and as usual we are not getting any information about it. Mine was built 1/15 and it is still sitting there. Ford webpage says it shipped 1/23 but dealer says no it hasn't shipped and it does not show up on Palsapp so it has not made it to Kansas City. Delivery isn't expected for another 45 days.

Yes I am mad and disappointed with Ford. I don't want to hear any more excuses of COVID or supply lines. Ford initially messed up on the build otherwise we would not have these additional QC issues and checks. Yes the additional delays cause further pile ups and even more delays but that is still on Ford. The most irritating part is that cars built after ours are being finished on the line, shipped and delivered before us. Rant over.

Think yourself lucky. Mine was built 9 December and is STILL stuck at the plant. There has be numerous ships leaving Veracruz since then to this side of the pond but there hasn't been any movement up to now. At least yours is showing as in transit.

Yes it appalling, perhaps calling the 800# posted in some other thread could shed some light or a better status?
I tried that. They were able to confirm that the status of my car changed back to “in production” on 2/3, but couldn’t tell me anything I didn’t already know. They said to contact my dealer for more info. But my dealer knows even less.

Grahame, offhand do you know how many cars will be put on the average transatlantic bound freighter? Just wondering as I can't imagine they're waiting to max out the ship's car capacity before sending them off.

Hmmmmm. My FE was built 1/12 and Ford page says shipped 1/25. Mentioned this to sales guy when asking for updated status from VV, he said the car was in MX waiting for shipment, provided a KSC rail car # (KSC being the MX-to-KC railroad). When I saw that number pop up on another thread a few minutes ago, the system says that rail car is in Oklahoma and is empty. One would think it left KC recently and is headed back to MX, but who knows? Palsapp shows KC as the origin of the the next leg but no destination and status=Pending.

Sorry but I have no idea. Most car carriers can hold between 6000 to 8000 vehicles but obviously the number of cars put on board, say in Veracruz, will depend on what is offloaded and where and what else is loaded and where. For us over this side of the pond the next ship is due in on 17/18 Feb. She is doing Valencia, Davisville, New York, Baltimore, Jackson ville, Houston and then Veracruz. She is not due to spend much time in the US ports so I assume she is offloading only. Therefore, in theory, she will have lots of room for lots of MME'S. She then goes to Altamira, possibly for some Broncos and then does Jacksonville, Baltimore, New York and Davisville again. Next stop Antwerp with, hopefully, lots of UK and EUR MME'S. It would seem that the only MME'S that have been shipped this way so far are not for customers as I am not aware of anyone taking delivery especially in UK. Who knows what Ford's thinking is regarding deliveries.

For what it’s worth, I’m kind of jealous of my car. It gets to bask in a sunny parking lot in Mx, just kicking back and catching some rays, while I’m stuck shoveling snow and dealing with frigid temp. I think it knows exactly what the deal is and is waiting for better weather before hopping on a train up here. I don’t blame it! Smart car!

Ooooh this sucks. I got happy that I got first my "in production" email and early this morning a "built and will be at your dealer between 03/06 and 03/12/2021". Reading this got me nervous again.

Your dates are fine - 4 weeks easily for delivery + 1 week waiting shipping and 1 week just in case that = 6 weeks

my mache is down there with you. I think this week will be a busy week and we will see some shipping out. Hang in there.
Thanks #trutolife27.
So if they ship this week, we’re looking at 3/10 +/- delivery I guess?

Why so many declined MMEs? Clever dealerships?
Dealerships have MMEs on the lot for sale.
Even my dealership, which never contacts me without me contacting them first, has one for sale. It (they do not mention the MachE anywhere) is not listed on their web page. Only shows up on MachE search inventory page.
I wonder...

mine which is in transit, is suppose to be part of the Stop order. Subframe bolts maybe. No really way to tell. Fords system is pretty bad, but the dealership, did tell me when I called that it was part of the stop order.

I still have a build date of 1/3/21 (car was ordered 8/24/21). I waited until today (heard updates come on Thursday) but didn't see any so contact dealership.
They say car is built but there is a chip hold (no details on what or how many chips) and that new date is May 21, 2022.
I am hoping my car is relaxing and having a good time rather than rotting in the hot sun. It does make me wonder about issues down the road from sitting outside for 5 months straight.
