I think this has to do with Ford moving all the unscheduled orders to Job 2 production. Next week schedule will resume for 5/2 - 5/23 which is the start of job 2 production. Don’t know what changes if any will be introduced, or what may be removed.

Just for context, I didn’t receive a single email like this for my 2021 Job 2 Premium, and had to rely on checking the trackers near daily to glean where my order was at.

I’m not saying this was okay, but demand for this car has only exploded in the time since I placed my order last summer. I’d say Ford seems to be trying harder on the communication front, and “planning” isn’t going to do much good when you’re staring down an avalanche of orders and don’t control the supply chain.

It’s easy for me to say as an owner but the MME is worth the wait. Hope you’ll be able to stick it out and join the club - good luck!
What's the difference between Job 1 and Job 2? I've seen this mentioned a bunch of times.

I just got this email too and was so confused because not only did I not put in for any changes to the order, it never specified any.

Is this the same "chip delay" email some have gotten, even though it doesn't specify chips?

I see order dates and models all over the map, I wonder if that email is sent when they see people checking Ford site multiple times...

I received one. Ordered 10/19/21. Premium AWD standard battery. It sounds like everyone got the email. At least Ford is attempting to communicate and let me know my order still exists. I love the people who have spent months complaining about ford not communicating and now will complain about ford communicating!
I bought a canceled order last month so am no longer impatient.
Good luck to all that are still waiting to be scheduled, all those in production and all those on chip holds. It’s going to be a long rest of the MY.

I feel it might be as long as we may think. I'm seeing a bunch of order dates around 10/11/12-2021 being built and delivered, so fingers crossed, for all of us.

Also got the e-mail for the unscheduled orders. I am assuming it will be shifted to Job 2.

No e-mail for the one with a build date in mid-April.

I got this too and what a useless email given how long the delays are. They are pumping GTs but holding back on the premiums and aren't being agile at all with their plans or communication.
Oh well.... There are other cars and I've placed an order for Ioniq.
Not true. I ordered a GTPE back in August, build week 1/24, and it is still stuck in production. It’s all about timing, if your car is on the line when the chips come in. I bought an EV6.

Don't feel bad but I sold my Cali rt 1 in February n put a deposit on a premium. And it was soooo nice guys. So I'm suffering in my neices 03 Tiburon while these gas prices that I'm not used to charging cheaply at home since the mme. But don't worry they r coming

No. I received the email and don't go to that God forsaken site. I have a dealer order, not an online one. Premium ER AWD 12/30.
Most posts here were January orders, apparently.

My order is from 10/1. This is now the second vague email from Ford that says basically nothing, but I'm guessing it's another backend change switching orders to Job 2, just like the last email from a few weeks ago...at least they're finally getting back to scheduling cars this coming week.

I received the same email, ordered 11/10/21 star white Premium AWD ER gray seats from dealer in eastern PA. While I don’t like the update, at least it’s a communication and makes me feel my order hasn’t been lost or overlooked.
