First off I have a Galaxy S25+ and have had all updates on my phone up to date. When driving my Android Auto will disconnect and reconnect numerous times to the point that I have to turn off my phones Bluetooth to keep it from happening. It's getting worse and bad part is if I'm listening to music it will interrupt my sweet jam sessions. Has anyone experienced this?

I had that with an S21 Ultra - I moved to a Pixel 8 Pro and the problem went away for me. Seems like that's a problem with either Samsung or Ford that has never been fully addressed. Searching online for info will be one heck of a mess, so I advise against that. :)

I never have that problem. I've used various phones, including my current Pixel 8P.

I guess you could plug your phone into the USB.

Yup.

Can't remember which phone, either a T-Mobile brand cheap Android or a Motorola, but it just got super unreliable out of nowhere. I just turned off the "Wireless App Projection" toggle in the Sync settings and used USB. Problem solved.

Wife and I now have Pixel 10's and they both work wired and wireless in my Lightning and new to us MME, though the USB is still more reliable.

There are a few places where we drive that ALWAYS drop if using wireless AA. Must be Wi-Fi interference or some secret UFO/government thing...

I have a Galaxy S23+ and I get occasional sound dropout when using Navigation through Android Auto. For example one time it was navigating me onto the 405 N but the instructions came out as "turn right onto the ..5N". The route indicators are usually accurate so I can follow them but it would be nice if it didn't happen.

With the S23+ I find that things go haywire once in a while and the solution is to power it down completely then restart it - That corrects most glitches including one where it stops sending or receiving texts.

Wired is probably the route I'll take just a bummer since it should work via Bluetooth. I am soon going to upgrade to the S26 so hopefully that will work. When I has my S23 I never had this issue. Thanks for the help guys!

Yes, that is a bummer. Hope the new phone fixes your issue.

I can relate. I am currently renting a Chevy Bolt, while I lend my kid the Mustang for a couple of months. Not only do I have to plug my phone in with a cable if I want to use Android Auto, but I also have to carry a real key in my pocket, and to use the hatch I actually have to pull it open with my bare hands -- like an animal! It's like going back in time to the 19th or 20th century.

Lol. Gotta love the creature comforts. I have older cars that force me to do manual labor also.
