So can you expand the Spotify one to show like the map is in the picture? All I can get is each one split on top of each other...

All I know is AA maps fills the full AA window if touching that map icon on the lower bar. And it flips between full window and mixed each time you hit it. The other app buttons do partial screen expanding/contracting too by touching their icons. But as far as I know we're stuck with those limited behaviors.

I don't use Spotify so not sure what it will do. You just have to try it and see what it does.

You used to, but not anymore. When the app area was slightly smaller in the old Sync 4A UI, in the new Android Auto cool walk UI you could switch between a large map with two tiles, or full screen with any app. Now that Ford increased the vertical height of the app area, Android Auto let's you choose between full screen map, large map with two tiles, or top half map and bottom half another app.

It's an Android Auto issue since it's deciding how to organize windows in the viewing space based on the area given to it by the car. Ideally they should let us choose between full screen any app, half and half two apps, and large map with tiles (and put the media tile on the left FFS).
