Thanks for the charging advice, Ill definitely look into it. I am stuck on iOS so no free pre-con for me. I paid for the in car nav just to check out what I am missing. I haven't looked at it too much yet but I did try routing to the Tesla Supercharger in Windermere but of course it wasn't available to choose. The only two Superchargers it sees are two in Calgary. I'm going to play with it a bit more but so far it's not worth $2.00 /month never mind the $12.00/mo. they charge for it. The only restaurant combo I know about so far is Travel Lodge in Stony Plain, 48Amp AC not DFCF but a wonderful Mr. Mike Steak House in the same parking lot. (See charger on Plug Share)

I have a 21, got the OTA to fix the door lock recall, then one week later got the message in Ford app that I need to schedule the recall at the dealer. Of course the recall is also still showing as need int he Ford app as well. Maybe there computer systems are running on Commadore 64s.
I took mine to the dealer for the door lock recall. They installed it and I went home, then got a message that it did not install. I waited overnight and it installed and all looks complete now.

Too confusing. If they want more people to buy EV's, they need to make it as easy as possible. You know, like when we used to pull up to a gas pump and stick the nozzle in the gas tank and pull on the handle.

Okay quick question for the group, I am about to make my usual trip from Dallas to Denver through the panhandle of TX. I pay for the Connected Nav because in the past I have found that in rural areas my cell signal can get bad and iOS just does not live update calculated distances to empty as fast as the Connected Nav (I have had iOS routing in rural areas almost leave me stranded twice). My 2021 still does not have the toggle for having the adapter to add the Tesla Superchargers to my route (common @Ford Motor Company let us have these updates!). My question to the group though is my experience is only in the winter the pre-conditioning making a difference on charging speed. I don't think pre-conditioning makes any difference in high heat situations correct?

In HIGH HEAT it will cool.

Practically speaking, I have found that preconditioning in a Ford Mustang Mach-e matters in cold temps and less in warm temps. I’m in the mid Atlantic so my definition of hot warm and cold might be different from yours.

I would rather just not think about it, and that’s why I second your comment about improving Connected Navigation.

My 2021 Premium only "preconditions" -warms- the battery pack up to 59f. Once the battery pack is that temperature no pre conditioning occurs. So there is no pre conditioning except during the winter months. Cooling? Don't live in hot areas where this might occur but never had anyone display evidence of such.

How are you searching? Have you tried now that Connected Nav is active? I’ve always been able to find them by typing “Tesla” or “Supercharger”. Not just magic dock sites. Next to the search bar there is a button to change where you’re searching. By default I think it searches near your current location.

It would be great if you could send out a one-time Supercharger update to those with expired subscriptions?
Did Ford ever do this? OR if I were to subscribe to connected navigation would I now be able to update to this on my 2021 MachE?
