Wish I knew that 4 years ago when I bought the Ford Charge Station Pro, but the others may not have existed then. I considered getting a new charging station like you suggested but at $62 the timer seemed a logical choice.

Puddle Lights are erratic on my 25 as well.
Are you using PAAK?

Recently I started trying PAAK again from using only the FOB for quite some time and last night I noticed that the Puddle lights didn't turn on. I also noticed none of the lights turned on. As in when you approach the car the lights should turn on.

The reason is a closely guarded secret hidden deep in the bowels of Ford’s new world headquarters. Ft. Knox has lax security in comparison. Only Bill Ford has the key to the vault.
Perhaps that key is PAAK and he's yet to figure it out?

What is PAAK? Newbie here. My lights do turn on when I approach the vehicle.

I will also mention that to see the Puddle lights it has to be quite dark, they aren't too bright, and that the mirrors have to be folded.

My 2022 MME is now 4 years old. A couple days ago I was treated with another first - the brake coach actually displayed after being switched on the whole time. My delight was short lived - it was the last time it worked. This feature now joins the group that has worked only one time the four years that I have owned the car: folding mirrors, brake coach, welcome lighting
The list of never working: hands-free rear door opener
The list of working sometimes: driving mode (car likes engage, I like whisper), preferred charging times (usually ignores my preferences), PAAK (if you are persistent, it works).
Great car to drive, but these and several UI glitches covered well in the forum make the car somewhat frustrating. Still love it, though.
The Brake coach is a ridiculous and useless feature IMHO. I used it a few times when I first bought the car and then turned it off. I use one-pedal mode all the time, and seems like it always reports 100%. It gets re-enabled when ever Ford does an OTA and I have to turn it off.

I think my 2022 was built on a Wednesday while most must be built on Mondays or Fridays :) I've had it 3 years and everything still works. PAAK has always worked as have the mirrors and welcome lights. The worst thing that has happened with the mirrors is they somehow get out of sync every few months. Simply fold them and they re-sync.

I have never replaced the HVB (36k miles) but have had the OTA installed. I have noticed I will occasionally get a random error message, such as a power train fault or electrical drain on the 12V battery. I took it into the dealer and they can't find anything wrong so they reset car and the errors go away and never come back., I have been actively monitoring my 12V using an OBD2 scanner and have recently noticed it would stop charging to about about 70% no matter what I did. Sometimes, it would drop to 58-60% over night.. A few days later, I got the "bad 12V" message and I took it into the dealer. Again, they couldn't find anything wrong with it (no surprise) and simply charged it. I got the message again and took it back to them and described to the service advisor exactly what was happening and of course they re-tested and it passed. They told me they couldn't replace it under warranty unless it failed so they "made it fail" somehow. Bingo, new 12V for no cost. I guess they got tired of me continually bringing the car back.

The brake coach is mainly for people that are using 2 pedal mode.

If you are using 1 pedal mode and the car comes to a complete stop without using the brake, you have gotten 100% of the possible regenerative braking. If you have to use the brake you will notice that you don't get 100% because the reason you did that is because you need to stop sooner and as such the friction brakes kick in.

With two pedal mode it is different since you are by definition using the brake, but the friction brakes won't be used any more than in 1 pedal mode if you are light on the brake. It is very possible to get 100% on the brake coach in 2 pedal mode. This the real purpose of the brake coach to teach a person using 2 pedal mode how to get the most regen while braking.

I drive in 1 pedal mode, my wife drives in 2 pedal mode. We both get about the same efficiency because she gets 100% on the brake coach.

The feature that I think is worthless is the one that shows your distance to the next car, which is supposedly meant for new drivers. I certainly wouldn't be teaching a new driver to look at that indicator in the instrument panel instead of looking out the windshield at the car in front of them.

until the ghost-in-the-pony changes the mode back to Engage when you aren't looking. I prefer Unbridled, and the brake coach popping up at the end of the driveway is the quick reminder that it has defaulted back.
So now I learned why I have occasionally seen it. We share a ghost!
