Speaking of first deliveries, where are dealer demo cars? I thought that they were expected around the first of December.

They can't leave the factory until OKTB. That was originally planned for 11/23, but was pushed out to today (11/30). No update yet on whether or not that was issued.

I saw once that there was a website that if you had your exact vin number that you could plug it in and it would tell you where in production your car actually is. do you have the website???

Yes and we haven't seen dealer demos moving yet either.

My production date is this week, week of 11/29, and the dealer has an ETA on my car of 12/21.
Dealers have been notorious at guessing on delivery dates, sometimes based on little to no applicable information. However, that delivery date sounds quite possible. Hope the dealer is right! ?

I'm crossing my fingers that I can take delivery last week of Dec between XMas & New Years. My build week is 11/30 so basically first week of Dec for the production and 3 weeks for transit to the dealer. Think that is realistic.
I have the same build window, and my dealer AutoNation Tustin said delivery ETA is 12/21
I have the same build week and the salesperson I've been working with said my MME was scheduled to arrive at the dealership the week of December 21st. He volunteered this info, which he read off a computer print out, so I don't think he was blowing smoke.

Of course the spreadsheet might be wrong and it's a couple of weeks old, but assuming the schedule hasn't moved, and building in some wiggle room, I think there is a good chance your vehicle would get there by the week of the 28th.

My salesperson had a computer spreadsheet. I didn't ask to see it, and of course it could just have dates which are guesses, but I didn't ask about a delivery date and the build week he had for "my" MME was the same as the one Ford has given me. Just guessing but I suspect these delivery estimates came from Ford. Of course they could be wrong, it's an estimate and there are lots of moving parts. I did question him on the delivery date because it seemed very quick, and he more or less said: "This is what it says". LOL

Here is what a demo vehicle looks like in the dealer's system. All the ETA stuff is either TBD or N/A. I presume this is because the vehicles haven't shipped yet. When vehicles start shipping then we can look again and see if any dates populate into these fields.

Thanks. So the ETA he gave me would have been generated by the dealership based on past experience? He also volunteered that once the MME shipped he could track it. I'm assuming that's accurate.

Your dealer might have been looking at a schedule that was circulating around which basically showed some MP1 vehicles being delivered the week of Dec 7th. Some MP2 vehicles the week of Dec 14th and then customer cars assembled in week 11/23 could ? deliver in week of 12/21. I don't know who put those dates down or where they came from. I learned about it from some buddies in the transport industry.

However, I am sure all that was based on the assumption that OKTB would happen by early last week. It's very likely those dates are no longer valid.

Clock starts when shipping starts, Ford corporate rep personally told me that it’s going to take approximately 3 weeks for transport. So if shipping starts today 12/21 does sound plausible, just waiting for the good news.

Anyone hear anything?

Is this the site you mean? Doesn’t seem to be very accurate.

thank you. That is it. It states in production but it breaks down everything like it would appear on a window sticker
